Salsa! in Camden

It was my first time to have dinner at Sushi Salsa. It was recommended from a friend which I have organised a dinner with my friends. The place was a bit hard to find in Camden, but inside was very cozy having the seats at the level of the floor. Service was slow as the place was pretty busy. We have ordered bento’s and a plate of sushi to share. Price is reasonable and food was amazing. I am a sushi lover which is a bit hard to find an authentic place where they make fresh sushi. But this place is absolutely good.I am looking forward to come back again and try more of their dishes.

Exceptional place, wonderful customer service! Starters were so good and tasty, I'd rate them 8/10, the main not so much probably would rate them 5/10. Total experience and the beauty of the location 7/10 Ideal for a family dinner out, kids friendly as well.

The foods were delicious and the decor was awesome. They had a very extensive menu and the staffs were very attentive. It’s a very good place for gathering or even a date. How’s the gyoza? Decent food, wasn’t too crazy about my chicken in the bento box as it was fried and cooked with the skin, but some people might like a crispy skin on theres, just not my preference. Salads were good and maki rolls were small and basic.The most annoying part. They charged us 4.20£ (almost $6 US) for one water. This is what we asked to drink and she only gave us a still or sparkling option, not tap which is obviously what I’d be asking for. Nonetheless I could’ve gotten a small roll for the same price of that ONE water we shared. My partner noticed they obviously use this as a tactic to increase sales upon customers which is really annoying. Scamming customers $6 US for water? Just bring regular water for the table, if I was going to pay that much wouldn’t I order a real drink? Smfh.Anyway. It’s decent for what it is if your craving sushi or Asian food, just not memorable in any way.Expensive for what it is, I recommend getting sushi in central London for better prices. I’m not sure if the rent on the location is pushing their desperation for money, but it shows the way they nickel and dime customers.

My friend and I have been eating here for many years. We came back again recently and it is still just as good. We both ordered a bento box and we always ask for cucumber maki instead of salmon sushi roll, staff are always happy to accommodate this request. Staff are friendly and helpful.I ordered a Jack Daniels and coke and was given a (very small) neat Jack Daniels and when my friend pointed out to the waiter that I had asked for coke he said that she could put some of her coke in my glass. I had actually wanted a JD and coke but decided it would be easier to drink it neat. It was a very small amount and I am not entirely sure if it was a full measure, for £4.50 I was hoping for a full shot. That is the only reason that this isn’t a five star review. We will be back.

Had a lovely evening at Sushi Salsa🌱The staff were friendly, the service was great and the drinks in particular were amazing🤩 I looove anything sushi but as a (new’ish) vegetarian I was hesitant to see what my options would be... I was not disappointed to say the least!We had some delicious vegetable sushi, we even ordered a second plate! The steamed rice was also so fluffy and cooked to perfection!I also loved the mise en scene, it’s cool how you sit in little bunkers on the floor- really adds to the experience and makes it fun!Definitely will come back when I’m in the area- thank you for a lovely evening!

I absolutely love this place. It was a great experience as always. The only one thing I would like to mention is that we ordered together yet we started getting the food bit by bit reason why we couldn't enjoy it cause by the time we got all the food, first plates served were cold. For example I ordered deluxe tempura and some rice as a side. Deluxe tempura is purely deep fried and very dry I couldn't start eating it without my side which came last, my tempura was cold already. If you can improve this, that would make everything perfect.

Me and my partner were unimpressed by the food here. The kitsune udon was bland, unseasoned and we left it unfinished. The veg yaki udon was also lacking in depth.We were left hanging for the bill for 10 minutes at off-peak times and had to remind staff. Besides this, the staff serving us were friendly and attentive.

Very attentive staff. The food was fresh and delicious. Really nice atmosphere.
