Had a meal for 5 this evening - seriously good food. Your bog standard Curry House has that generic sort of taste from restuarant to restuarant, this however was very flavourful and of a very good standard. The staff were friendly, the prices were very reasonable for London and the food really was some of the best I've had around London. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting good tasting Indian Food! Thank you

Great lads here, they will look after you. A small place but food is fantastic and will leave you happy. Can get busy so worth booking a table.

Had a fantastic meal with some old friends here tonight. The host was tentative and made good recommendations. Also gave us a complimentary whisky or bailies finish. Would come back, thank you.

The food was impeccable as was the service! The waiter was incredibly lovely and welcoming and the food was not only incredibly reasonably priced but absolutely delicious and so filling! Had the balti with pilau rice and the mango lassi as well as a mix of starters! Would recommend to anyone wanting a good curry house in London!

So here we are, re-calibrating, re-engaging and redefining after a few months lockdown ended and its time to get back to some old routines. I thought I'd pay good old Drummond Street a visit, haven't been there in a while and used to be a frequent visitor.A couple of bottles of beer at the Crown & Anchor and then I visited Shahi Tandoori. I have been here many times but this was my first visit after lockdown reopening in March 2021.I loved it, was better than before. Had a great chicken tikka bhunna which I recommend and really hit the spot.

A quick lunch - it wasn't busy and excellent and quick service. I had a medium spiced chicken curry (I forget which one!) and pilau rice - both excellent. Simple unpretentious food - I would definitely go back. Thank you.

This was just delicious, a thali, that I modified slightly with no complaints from the staff. They are always friendly, the restaurant was empty but for me, almost to be expected given day one of New level restrictions. Feel like I was doing my bit too keep them going. The food was impeccable, deep rounded flavors in the curries, soft bouncy naan, fluffy rice, it's such a great place.

My favourite Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant. I have been coming to this restaurant regularly for the last two years and their curries are perfect every time and the service is always great, staff are very friendly and polite. A must try. Thank you always :)

Maybe the best Indian restaurant at Drummond street. Simple cozy place, but with very attentive and friendly staff. Menu offers a wide selection of Indian dishes. Ask your waiter for advice. Every dish can be tailored to your taste. Add spices, mix gravy with ingredients you want.Generous complimentary appetizers.Prices are fair and provide a very high QPR.I might even come back the next time I'm around.

It was a perfect dinner. I liked the food very much particularly the kebab, lamb and rice. The chicken breast was tender and juicy and perfectly cooked. The rice was deliciously aromatic and nutty. The staff working here are friendly, courteous and polite. My second time here was more wonderful. The chicken chat starter was finger licking good! It’s presentation was awesome; in a cabbage leaf! The Mughalai Biryani was the best I ever had!I happened to meet the manager of the restaurant. He is a gentleman and very respectful. The place is ambient. The traditional light music playing in the background adds to the flavour.
