Please don’t let the reviews fool you. My experience was mediocre at best. Most of the food can be described as bland or flavorless. It’s an overall “Meh”. Some of the starts tasted like frozen store-bought appetizers. The prices were way too expensive for their service. It’s nothing egregiously bad. But if you’re in town looking for a Turkish restaurant with fine food, you have so much better options.

A diverse dining experience with a good selection of dishes and flavours to try from the renk mezze menu, finished off with delicious baklava that were just the right balance of sweetness.Staff were polite and mostly friendly, though a few were a little aloof at times.

It was ok. Not the most authentic Turkish, too westernised for me. Some dishes were hit and miss. Chicken shish was nice but the casserole was leaking in taste. Atmosphere was enjoyable.

A little bit of a wait to be seen by the waiter for ordering of food after being seated, however the staff were really polite and cordial. Main waitress made it a point to greet and wish well on both entry and exit which was a memorable touch. For Muslim customers please note that although the restaurant serves halal meat, some of its dishes are cooked with alcohol, so unless you enquire beforehand, there is no way of knowing that it is in the dish. Something the restaurant aught to state on their menu for ethical/ moral reasons. There is no excuse in this day and age to be serving your customers highly controversial ingredients such as alcohol without their being made aware. You wouldn’t covertly put peanuts into dishes and distress a group of people from amongst society that may have an allergy to it.When very kindly explaining (for the first time only) how we wanted to be sure there was no alcohol in the dishes chosen (note everything on the menu is in Turkish names and my friend who is a non Muslim is avoiding alcohol) it was received by a icy silence which was not lost on anyone followed by a very long awaited “okay”. Almost as though common sense finally dawned over the guy.If you mobility issues, unfortunately this will be an issue as you will be expected to use the stairs.Over all food was cooked well, tasty and served hot. Quiet and casual ambience. Complimentary snacks. Affordable. Location is also convenient for tourists. Waiters overall friendly.

Such a lovely experience! When my girlfriend asked for the gluten free menu, as she's a coeliac, our waiter could not have been more helpful and understanding. The food was excellent as well, definitely will come back

A brilliant lunch on a rainy day. Very warm welcome and very good food. We had the simple two course menu but still had complimentary bread - delicious - olives and hummous. This is a generous and lovely place.

Good food but service is not a perfect. You cannot serve plates that are not cleaned by the cook. This is a typical lack of professionalism. There weren't many customers in the restaurant.

A really nice and friendly atmosphere, well presented and inviting. The food was first class and stirred my memories of Anatolia. Good portions, tasty and with adequate time between courses for it to sink in. Didn’t burn a hole in my pocket. Will we return? You bet we will 👍🏻
