Decent pub. Good service. The Sunday Roast is great. Potatoes were slightly under done but other than that I’d recommend this place.

Had been meaning to go for years on account of the recommendations. Finally went last night for pub quiz night with the family. Not only did we have an amazing time, but the food was incredible. Will try to make it a family regular if we can hack it!

Wonderful town pub - the staff are very attentive and the food has never disappointed. An added bonus is that Spike, the four legged bouncer will occasionally bless you with his presence

The food here was top notch, absolutely superb. When we went in the pub was very quiet so we were attended to very quickly. The young blonde lady working was very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend the roasted pork belly for a dinner or heavy lunch. Cooked to perfection.This pub has a great atmosphere and design, it feels modern and cosy but has all the classic furniture and decoration of an older family pub. Overall, a fantastic place to eat and drink

A real and unexpected delight to find when I visited Fortune Green. Great spot to sit in or out, watch the world go by, chat to friends and meet neighbours passing by. Good choice of beers and great draft cider. Food highly recommended and Mike is a fine host. I'll be back.

Very delicious food! We had a pie and lamb chop. The pie was amazing and the pork inside very tender and perfectly seasoned. The mash potatoes on the side were also great and the veggies had a very good texture (not overdone). The lamb was also very tasty. As a dessert we had a sweet fig pudding. I can very much recommend this place!

A very unassuming pub and I wasn't sure based on the photos alone... their beer selection could do with broadening but the food was amazing!! My boyfriend had the beef roast while I had a mackerel. Both cooked perfectly. Portions were very generous and I'm looking forward to trying out their breakfast menu one day which looks good, and having had their lunch, should live up to expectations.
