Cheaper than most pubs in London. Lovely atmosphere. My boyfriend and I felt nice and relaxed here xx

Great place! Damn good food- can't move right now.

Perfectly nice pub. We visited at a quiet time, so service was obviously prompt, but also friendly. Ale options limited to Spitfire when we were in, but well-kept and very enjoyable. Would be happy to come again.

This place wasn't the reason that I in the area, infact, I was headed to another well known pub that is a few minutes away. This place caught my attention instantly with one glance. Partially due to it's presence, and upon reading on the building that it has Britain's oldest brewer since 1698, I knew that I had to go in and check it out.It has a nice warm feeling to it... it's welcoming and open. The personell are extremely attentive, witty, and charming. The beer was very nice and the fact that the house brews were quite different from each other was excellent and greatly appreciated. I walked a bit over two miles to get here on my second go today and I left with a smile, again.I highly recommend this place to anyone no matter where you're from or how far you're traveling. My original destination felt cold in comparison.

This is our favourite pub. We've been coming here for around 15years. Always get a seat, affordable London prices and Spitfire on tap. Great place to drink after a day in Central London

I've been here a couple of times now. Always get the same thing -- steak and ale pie, delicious. Served with mash and onion gravy. And the cod and chips are solid. Cozy atmosphere. Definitely coming back.

A little stop before a work function down the road. Served a nice pint of Guinness and a good varied selection of spirits. Nice warm atmosphere

Really lovely Shepherds Neame pub in Bloomsbury. The single room ground floor bar is small and cosy; dark wood and stained glass. Also an upstairs dining room.Really friendly staff, a very warm welcome and well kept ales. Definitely worth a visit.

Great place! The bartender was friendly and made my stay pleasant. Pints go for £4.50-£5.50. The interior is nice with wooden panel walls and floors. Stainglass windows is also a nice touch.
