Great service, tasty food and a brilliantly spicy bloody Mary, I can't ask for anything else. Malenka who was there every day, is great at her job and really made us feel welcome. Shout out to the guy in glasses who I didn't get a name for (sorry, glasses guy) for the excellent Bloody Mary mix.

Do NOT go to this place expecting it to be "The Diner" as it once was, this is now Camden Diner and it couldn't be more different. It's probably worth noting that most of the 1,600+ reviews for this restaurant are mostly from when it was "The Diner" and not "Camden Diner" as it is now.The menu is essentially just burgers and nachos, they had ran out of chicken wings when we visited so paid £11 for some nachos with beef or pork (not sure which) but to be fair, they weren't too bad.I ordered a chicken burger, very clearly with no mayonnaise (I was told it didn't have mayo anyway) which then came out with mayonnaise... This was fortuitous really as what I was served was approximately a 6-8mm deep slice of grilled chicken breast that covered about half of the bun and cost £14, I took the mayo as opportunity to send the chicken burger back and order a normal beef burger which was fine. Then comes the bill, they had charged us for the chicken burger so naturally we queried it and had it taken off, a second bill arrived only £2 cheaper which is probably still more than I'd have paid for that sad excuse for a chicken burger. The third bill came out, slightly cheaper again, turns out they'd billed us for a second nachos which a friend had as an upgrade to his meal which should have been £4 rather than the £14 they had tried to charge. I gave the waitress the bill and asked why this one was wrong again but was met with indifference and confusion, so explained. A fourth bill finally came out that was almost right, I think we were still overcharged by a couple or few quid but had given up by that point. The service charge is also pre-included on the bill.Long story short, I won't be going back, I feel like they were purposefully trying to get us to pay for mistakes made by them and then adding it back to the bill (twice) when it was requested that it should be taken off. The food was acceptable but fairly expensive and there are much better burgers to be had in Camden, try Honest Burger by the market, it's reliable and good burgers and fries, they also do almost everything gluten free.I've attached a picture of the menu as it seems to be hard to find online. They've also gotten rid of the hard shakes that The Diner used to do.

Nice little burger joint in Camden, serves good breakfast and lunch in an American style.

I don't often leave negative reviews, particularly at the moment when hospitality is struggling so much, but had a very unsuccessful Sunday breakfast here in Feb '22. Food and drink both took ages, they were out of key ingredients and cutlery (they had no spoons), staff didn't seem particularly efficient, lukewarm food and watery Bloody Marys. Every table around us for the hour and half we were there had problems, particularly with wrong orders and cold food. They did remove the service charge and gave us an additional 20% discount when asked, but this was not automatically offered.By all accounts, they have just changed management, so hopefully these are just teething problems. It is a great building, well-located, with lots of fun memorabilia on the walls and the menu itself looked brilliant.

This place was so cute!! Had such a good time. The server was so accommodating and understanding. Food was totally reminiscent of America and the cholula stole the show. Defo try the freak shakes!!

Went here a few years ago when I think it had a different name. Decor inside is much nicer and the brunch we had was great. Also loved the fact they have vegan milkshakes. Would recommend and we will definitely be back.

Chill morning, staff were helpful and attentive, english breakfast was great and the filter coffee really pleasant.Literally the only downer to it is the food being slightly cold when it came (dont know if the plate was cold or whatever) but literally apart from that spot on. Would recommend.

This was a great find. From outside all looks pretty average but the quality of the food and the roof terrace make it special. The burgers were superb with a lovely slaw, just right gerkhin and fabulous, crispy, thin chips or fries as some people call them! Quick service currently from an app and attentive staff. Highly recommended.

I read a load of reviews from this place and at least a dozen other places before deciding to go here as it seemed to have what I wanted, and most of the bad reviews didn't seem very standard. I am so glad that I chose this place.I got the big vegetarian English breakfast and before ordering asked the lovely waitress/manager (unsure, but as the receipt said a woman was the manager I would assume that was her as there were no other female staff around) if I could substitute the baked beans for tater tots/hash browns and she told me yes, any of the extras can be substituted for something within the same price bracket, although beans didn't show up. She proceeded to make rounds whilst we had a look at the menu and I could tell the whole time I was there both of the floor staff were constantly working, doing anything that needed to be done whenever there was anything. I don't think I've ever seen a more efficient pair of people in any establishment. My food arrived in crazy record time and there was a mountain of hash browns! I wasn't expecting that, it was very pleasantly surprising. All of the food was at least warm/hot, and tasted good, good quality and a good amount of food, I'd definitely buy that again, but that wasn't the main reason I was there... I was looking for a place that does milkshakes, not just in Camden, anywhere from Soho really, but this place caught my attention more than any other. I even had a hard look at the dessert place across the street first, but the reviews and pictures made it seem like a cheap, careless, tacky dessert chain, so I wanted to get something from here instead.I am and will forever be grateful that I went here, and I will keep going back for multiple reasons, the milkshake being the biggest. You know the milkshakes Gourmet Burger Kitchen used to do like a decade or so ago? That they stopped doing and now their milkshakes suck? They do those ones here. I've been looking for a good milkshake place for years, not properly as I rarely have milkshakes, but I tried in most places I passed on a regular basis and they were all worse than Shaketastic, who don't even do great ones, they're just mega sugary, kid's things, so finally finding a place is such a relief, I don't have to look anymore! That metal cup thing has more than enough to refill the glass you get your first serving in, it was way too much for just me for the breakfast and the milkshake, so it'll have to be just the milkshake from now on. Quality (taste at least) and they don't skimp or throw the rest of the finished product away. I have tried to make my own milkshakes a few times, but they always turn out nowhere near frothy enough and are always a disappointment.I'm really looking forward to going back for some of the alcoholic drinks that look incredibly reasonably priced in the menus and definitely for an alcoholic milkshake/some of the other milkshakes whenever I get another craving for one!The atmosphere was very chilled too and they had a lot of good music playing throughout the few hours I was there for, I ended up not realising it had been another two hours when it was time to leave and they were closing!I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family and definitely be back, thank you for the quality service and food and drink!

This isn't a 4 star spot. Period. Definitely not worth visiting. The tater tots were pretty good, and got a decent serving of eggs. The mushrooms and the bacon on the lumberjack breakfast were good.Long wait for server to even bring us water. The chocolate chip pancakes were weak, my wife's pancakes weren't fluffy, but doughy. The 'bottomless' coffee was one cup (and low quality), no refills offered (and the server didn't stop by after delivering the drinks).
