Where is The Harrison?

🏠 28 Harrison St, London WC1H 8JF

"The Harrison is a super friendly independent Kings Cross pub serving delicious food with a great selection of booze. We have been given 5 stars for our food hygiene and have also been awarded Cask Marque 5 for the quality of our beer. On a Sunday we serve our famous Sunday roast and on a Saturday an all day 'full English breakfast' is available. We are located a short walk from Kings Cross/St Pancras in a quiet residential area of Bloomsbury. Outside tables are available for drinking and eating. The Harrison hotel on the top floor consists of four cosy clean rooms. Guests can enjoy a delicious home cooked 'full English' breakfast. The Harrison is also famous for our live music venue and twice yearly all day folk festivals."

Spent a few nights in the 3-person room in Harrison's hotel, and what a lovely stay it was! The room wasn't big (didn't need to be) but had all the amenities a hotel room needs, with the added benefit of a homecooked English breakfast every morning. Staff was incredibly friendly and the bar was nice too! Can't beat the location, either.

Excellent neighbourhood pub with top-notch Sunday roasts. Staff remembered me - I hope in a good way - my second time here. Where else in Central London do you get that?

·

Nice pub with a range of cask ales. Not far from King's Cross and St Pancras stations, but tucked away on a side street, so not too busy.

I didn’t expect to find such a unique pub in the local area but I will certainly be returning. There’s a very different range of drinks available and although not cheap, it feels justified by the uniqueness. The staff are friendly and there’s a handful of benches outside which are pleasant enough to sit at. For a different option in the area I’d recommend.

My husband and I had a wonderful three-night stay at The Harrison. Room was simple, warm, and comfortable. Service was professional and very kind. We also enjoyed the pub's Sunday roast -- delish!

Sunday Lunch on way to train at Kings Cross. Fantastic service, good beers and drinks selection. Food was just perfect, Mains and desserts cooked and presented really well. Would recommend and we will return one day when next in London.

·

Really good Sunday roast, lamb cooked perfectly, good potatoes and veg. Gravy absolutely brilliant. Nice selection of cask and keg beers. Probably priced slightly too high but would return.

Thoroughly recommended. Stayed for one night. On arrival the pub was closed, so to gain access ring the bell on the door to the right of the pub. I got a warm welcome from the host, and shown the room, which was clean and bright. Shower a little cramped for me (I'm very tall) but all worked well and nice range of toiletries and tea/coffee in the room.Street noise for a while (stopped at 11pm) but earplugs were provided if needed.Location is a pub on a housing estate, about 10-15 minutes walk from Euston/Kings Cross.Breakfast was served in the pub, and was fantastic - really delicious and served with a smile. Great service, would definitely stay here again. Currently typing this review in the Harrison pub after checkout - do try their great range of beers!

Having a wander through the back streets of London WC1, after visiting the Dickens museum and came across this little gem.Okay, it's not the most magnificent pub in London but the landlord was brilliant as was the red wine I had and if you understand wine like I naturally do, you would visit here just for that and the ambience of the place.

Well managed pub and hotel. Our room was in very good condition. Service is world class and heartful. Price and location are perfect. On top of that, the full English breakfast included is fresh and has big portion. At first I was worried about noise because it has a pub, but turn out it was not noisy at all after dinner hours so it was kind of a perfect stay.
