The NY Meatball Shop in Camden

The best meatball sub I have had in my lifetime. The end.Well, that's all I need to say but I'll expand. It's been years since I've had good meatballs, and they are honestly the best Tender, juicy, spiced and saucy, everything needed in a meatball.The venue is small but a good size for what they need. The people working there were so nice and friendly. They made me feel relaxed and at home offering me pretty much anything I needed.

Perhaps I just came on an off day but my sub experience couldn't have been further away from the other reviews. The staff looked too tired and irritable to deliver anything resembling good customer service and the 'famous' meatball sub was essentially 3 meatballs in bread with little else. The meatballs themselves were, I have to say very good, but for £7, I'd rather go to Subway and receive a factory smile and a filling meal. Not a happy customer.

Meatballs are very nice indeed (hot sauce is awesome) , but at 6.50 for beef and chorizo I find the experience a bit overpriced.

The food here is delicious. I recommend you buy the cook book as well. Simple recipes that I have used to fool everyone into thinking I am a good cook.

Since I found this place, I go there once a week to get my meatball fix. The beef and chorizo pitta with extra cheese is simply the best lunch you can have...

Very enjoyable. was a little disappointing when I paid for a large (3 meatballs) but got 2. Will still go again.

Really good food and a nice place if you just looking to have a chilled day round town. Discovered by chance, but really nice.

Amazing meatballs, I had the beef chuck and chorizo meatballs with rice. The sauce is amazing and the meatballs are fantastic! Fantastic value for money and washed down with a cheeky little IPA! Service was great and the staff are friendly with good knowledge of the menu. Will definitely be coming here again!

A bit of an addiction for me as a fast, cheap, tasty lunch stop where you can sit and read a book whilst eating. There might be a rule here for restaurants that the fewer things they have on the menu the better they are! Tried the meatball boxes and they are great, but for me the Green Chicken Pitta tops them all.

Quality cheap eats - a welcome arrival to the area. Homemade meatballs and quality beer available too. Staff very attentive too - they clearly value the customer experience as they went "the extra mile" with a slight mistake with my order. I plan to eat this until I am sick of it!.
