Went to the Golden Lion today to try out the Sunday Roast, was not disappointed. Great value for money. It was a nice atmosphere & staff were very friendly. Will be back.

A really pleasant old pub the lager was good and food was nice but very small portions and a bit to pricey for what you get. I will go back again most definitely I'll not be ordering any food

Service here was lovely!Food came out a bit slow, maybe 25 minutes or so, but thinking it was made to order and fresh - and the food was good - so happy with that.Yorkshire puddings big and fluffy, done nicely. I wish there was a little bit more protein (especially for the chicken), tried both the chicken and the beef and both were quite juicy and succulent, cooked well. I think the chicken was quite well done. Overall, quite tasty - comes with mint and horseradish if you fancy, which were both good. Decent meal size, not something that will stuff you, but just perfect and will hit the spot (room for dessert and a starter!)This is a nice large place with tons of outdoor and indoor seating. Fairly clean and traditional pub style but with a bit of a flair.

Best Chips in London!This place is such a great find, just a couple minutes walk off the chaos of Camden Town. You'll find homey, cozy vibe in this authentic corner pub. Staff is great, the beer selection is excellent, but what really shines here is the food! I've tasted a variety of the offerings in the menu and nothing disappointed, but the real stars are the triple cooked chips. They are simply the loveliest, tastiest, crispiest chips I've come across in London, and I've tried a fair amount! Do yourself a favour and try them, you won't regret it.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff but wouldn't recommend as a vegetarian/vegan. There's only one option and it's tasty but not filling at all. Disappointing especially they could easily do a veggie roast if everything wasn't cooked in meat.

Awful service. Ordered the white beans which had no nuts mentioned in the menu. This is how many nuts I extracted from my meal - I’m highly allergic and have to carry an epi pen. When I mentioned it to the bar man he said ‘he’d always wanted to be a funeral director’ and the chef said there was nothing he could do and he would ‘mention it to the head chef tomorrow’. No apology or offer of any sort of compensation. Absolutely horrific.Have emailed and no response a week later. The poor service continues
