Serving mediterranean seasonal inspired food matched with an eclectic and ever-changing wine list. We wanted to create a cosy and relaxed place where people could discover great food and beautiful wine — something in the style of the Continental enotecas and neighbourhood bistros we know and love. Excellent food. Expert and unrushed service. Andrea, Renato and their team clearly love their work and are excellent hosts with a great wine list. I was looking for natural wines which they guided me through and we stayed way longer than planned because we had such a great time.

Can’t recommend enough. We sat in the bar and had the luxury of getting personalisedadvice and care from the superb somerliers.Started with a German orange wine and followed with a red from Piemonte.Food was excellent, the anchovies, octopus and lamb ragu are unmissable. We also had the English cheese trio for dessert and it was equally delicious.Excellent for a date or smaller groups as venue is small which is also why it is special.Very fairly priced too. Jewel in Fitzrovia.

We arrived a little early on our reservation, so the owner took us at the bar, gave us a glass of water and started talking with us. He was very polite and was chitchatting with us. We asked about the restaurant and the history of it, he asked some questions about us, … the owner was the nicest!5 to 10 minutes later we got our table. The owner came over and explained some of the dishes that were on the menu.We ordered a bottle of rosé, which we didn’t know yet, and the bottled turned out to be extraordinary!We ordered some bread, a plate of culatello (kind of Italian ham), a plate of smokey duck and a bowl of tonarelli (handmade pasta).Next to this we received a free plate of pork belly buns, given to us by the chef.The food was extremely delicious! One of the best places we’ve ever eaten.When we come back to London, we will surely visit again!
