Classic pub serving a resolutely British menu and a rotating selection of real ales and craft beers.

Quiet when we visited late afternoon. Decent pint of Pride.

A fabulous little pub just a few minutes off Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road. There is a fairly consistent but good selection of beers, and the atmosphere inside is very much that of a traditional pub with wooden tables and chairs, and a patterned carpet. Prices are slightly on the expensive side but no more so than any other pub in the area. This pub can get very busy with the after work crowd on weekdays, but there is ample heated outdoor space if the inside gets too crowded.

Classic gem just hidden away enough. 1 hand pull on, which was very good and Guinness was good too. Took the pie deal 2 for £19 something kids had a selection of tapas type dishes, my pie (stilton and beef) was excellent. Well filled with tender chunks, wife had chicken and ham and leeks, it looked great. Side veg were cooked perfectly

Bar staff was friendly & helpful. Prices not expensive either. The pie was packed with big chunks of beef 😋 & Real Mash ! 😋😋...shame about the gravy . Not oniony, gluppy as instant & made in microwave but a good little hidden olde worlde pub

Tried this place out as we were attending a gig at the 100 Club nearby. Hidden gem - quite small but upstairs seating too. Blue Moon on tap - always a good sign :) And try the homemade mac and cheese - one of the best I have ever had in London! My husband enjoyed his pie too. Will definitely be back next time we're around Oxford Street.

Nice little pub with a really good atmosphere and a canny pint average price for the west end would definitely visit again.

We arrived quite late and for last drinks. Friendly staff. Probably the closest I have seen to a traditional pub. Has just enough of everything and doesn't trip into the tourist hole. Very relaxed atmosphere and nice customers. I expected football to be on the television but it was the Euro Vision which was fun and in the background. I have no idea what the place is like during peak times but will definitely go back.

Cosy pub with friendly & helpful staff. Limited selection of beers & food during December 2020 due to Covid (especially veggie options), however we were happy they were open & had a great time during our visit. Booking is essential during the pandemic. Top spot & I look forward to coming back again soon. The toilets are upstairs, so might not be suitable for those with accessibility needs.

Superb little pub in trendy rathbone place. Decent prices and good food. Also has an upstairs bar/dining room.
