Food and ambiance good - but had to send back tea pot and cup because they were dirty! Disappointing as the rest was really good!

Nice cafe/restaurant in Connaught village. We had cake and coffee which were super yummy. Cake portions are very big though so definitely should have shared one between the two of us!

An Argentinian cafe without Argentinian staff. The food was nice, especially the cakes. I highly recommend the Chocotorta and the Rogel. The empanadas were tasty but small.I think the service was a little confusing, as you have to order at the counter and then they'll bring your food to your table. This could work for a couple or one customer, but for a large group (like the one I was when I in) was absolutely crazy and you could tell that the staff were trying their very best to manage the situation.

It is all about food. As Argentinian I loved the empanadas, the Chocotorta and the Rogel. Their Milanesas are great but the portion was not the size we expected. Now on the "cons" their service is inexistent, they don't help the tables at all, we had our empty dishes sitting there for half an hour, and we had to ask them to remove them as they were binging the dessert. It felt like we were bothering them whenever we asked for more water or napkins. So, great to takeaway, but don't stay. Food is great, though.

I went there on Saturday. Very pleasant atmosphere. The guy who makes the alfajors is very friendly, and the alfajor was delicious. :)

Very disappointed about my visit today. I've been to Abasto before, and even though it never blew me away, it was a good place to buy Argentinian food, which I sometimes miss. Today the person who served me kept talking to the customer behind me as if I wasn't there and it was quite difficult to get his attention. To add insult to injury, I ordered a blue cheese empanada which had sultanas in it. SULTANAS!! The other empanada was supposed to be a potato and beef empanada but the beef was almost non-existent. This wouldn't be so bad if the cocktail-sized empanadas weren't £2.80 each. I think next time I'll go to Gregg's :)

Lovely and cozy restaurant! Great place for a quick bite, relaxed cup of coffee or even a glass of wine! Totally recommend this place and you can find great wines as well.

The latte was deliciously perfect! However, the service was very slow, the credit card machine did not work and my scrambled eggs had egg shells included! The portion size was less than ideal, especially the toast given with the eggs. We got our breakfast and then had to wait for a while before getting silverware and butter. The place is nice and cosy but service and quality is much to be desired here.
