Found this place while looking for a restaurant near Victoria, what a gem! - Such friendly and efficient staff and the food was really very good, we all had 1 tapas plus a main - so much good choice. Highly recommended.

The food is 4 star. The service is 6 star.A really special night made more special by having service which is beyond expectations.We all enjoyed our mains. The Lamb shank was a stand out. I think we all enjoyed the starters we had. Maybe some finesse would elevate it.We shared everything off the pudding menu. All were on point.The service was above and beyond what is expected. Attended About Thyme (great name btw) as part of a work function. The restaurant kindly and comfortably accommodated 16 of us on a Monday evening. As it was a large party we had our own private area upstairs on an L configuration table which was excellent. Te red and white wines were very nice and because we were a large party we had a set menu. The starter of Ham and melon was amazing! (SERRANO HAM RESERVA)Welsh Lamb shank for main - cooked to perfection it just fell off the bone as you would expect and the dessert I could eat everyday forever CHURROS. (no picture of lamb unfortunately)I believe the set menu is reasonably priced at around £30pp which is very good value in my opinion especially on the quality of food and service we received.Thank you for your hospitality.
