Great restaurant. A bit over packed but the space is quite limited so it's understandable. Service is fast, mains took a bit of time though. The food was great. Would definitely go again.

Weekend dinner. Restaurant was empty when we entered but by the time we got someone to take our order it was almost full. The service was very insensitive and direct..The grilled lamb meet was pink in the centre. Maybe specific to some people taste but definitely not my choice. They were very keen to clear the table. While serving the dishes never clearly mentioned what each dish was. Service for taking orders was slow and it took time to even bring the food out. When the dishes came out they all came out at once which was nice. The table and chairs were clean.Over all I would not suggest it unless you have someone in your booking that already knows about the dishes.

Came to this fantastic Libyan restaurant by accident, after leaving from the place we had booked, after not feeling very welcome there. The Manager and staff at Al Hamra were wonderful. The were welcoming, helpful with the menu choices and suggested some lovely dishes to try. The mixed grill was a dream! We enjoyed a delicious Libyan House Red .The atmosphere was very easy going and relaxed. Great experience..... we said we will be back.... this time deliberately! Thank you!

I’ve been eating occasionally at Al Hamra for 25 years. I always liked the slightly old-school approach. Tonight was my last visit. The food was decent lebanese. Not the best but fine. The lebanese red by the glass was pleasant. But the service (including other tables adjacent to me) was beyond horrible. It’s as if the owner settled for a good-for-nothing lazy relative as the manager, he hired his friends, and it completely deteriorated. Every single waitstaff I interacted with was brain dead. They could not figure out how to bring me water. Then a glass of wine was complicated (they brought wine to the table next to me after they had finished their meal). Other things came late, bills got switched up between tables, it was a comedy of errors. London has a great Lebanese restaurants, probably the best selection outside of Lebanon itself, no need to ever come here again sadly.

The food is not that great and the service is bad, The only thing is eatable is the bread, it was stemming hot fresh out from the oven, we end up eating the bread. And it is so expensive, not worth it at all

The best place for Lebanese food in London. The freshest food you will get, great service, extensive menu and very tasty dishes. Can't wait to come back

Best Lebanese in London! If you love Arab food then you’ll love this place. Open late and always good service and food.

Good food, but let down by the odd service. We were repeatedly asked the same questions by different waiters/waitress (eg. Are you ready to order x5 times). The waitress even had to tell one of the waiters that the table is her station. It was as though the men were undermining her work, which perhaps made her seem slightly aggressive when she does her service. Very odd.We were also repeatedly told that we should order more starters to share, which is really off putting. We know what we want and how hungry we are.I was happy with my lamb tho, but u have no intention of returning.
