Al Waha in City of London

Very good, don’t miss it. The smoked eggplant dip is amazing, as is everything else I had. I’m glad I happened to be staying around the corner - best food I’ve had in London so far, with great service and atmosphere. Really great vegetarian meal.

We were made very welcome despite not having a reservation. We had the mixed grill special and 3 mezzo offer. All the dishes were promptly served and a good sized portion. All were cooked to perfection, especially the mixed grill. We shared a slice of the cheesecake and had a Lebanese coffee to finish . Great food , great value and really nice staff. Would definitely recommend 👌

Al Waha was a great place for a relaxed Sunday lunch with the family. Offering a tasty selection of meze, we found something that everyone liked! The red pepper dip was outstanding! The lamb kofte was delicious and even the chips! Our waiter Rakan was attentive, funny and made great recommendations. We’ll definitely be back!

A well-deserved 5-star. I've read good reviews about this place, and in particular, the Sea Bass. Here for the first time, and the Sea Bass did not disappoint! Had the spicy sauce on the side, so I could taste the fresh Sea Bass sans sauce. It was definitely fresh, tasty (natural freshness taste), juicy, and succulent, yet cripsy on the outside. Perfectly cooked. The spicy sauce on the side was a bit salty though, in my opinion. We were a party of 5 and got to try some of their Mezzas, which were all very well prepared and taste great too. The kitchen crew did a good job. The waiter/host for the night was Ali. He was kind, attentive, and not intrusive. But we later asked him to join us in a short conversation about Lebanese food and culture. Overall, a very pleasant experience, will recommend and go back again. Complimentary bread basket with our meal, and baklava at the end of the meal was a nice touch. Warm Lebanese hospitality and atmosphere. Thank you.

Delicious food, in particular the mouhammara (roasted red pepper dip) which Baal himself would approve of. The lebanese moussa is also good, with the right notes of spicy. And then the lotus speculos cheese cake, granted not a typical Lebanese delicacy, but excellent note to close the meal on.

Friendly staff and lovely food. Great for sharing with a good deal on hot/cold mezes. Lots of bread to dip in all the lovely dishes. Our waiter (I think the manager) also brought us and extra complementary dish which was very kind!

One of tbe best meals we have ever had. Staff were so friendly and the food superb. I only wish we could visit more often. Excellent.

The first thing that comes to mind is that this feels like homemade food (disclaimer: I am not Lebanese). Very down-to-earth food, yet delicious and feels honest. The staff is super friendly too. Must try.
