Amber Bar in City of London

Went for a furry party. Food is probably average for London ranging from sides at about £4 to main meals hovering around or just below £10. No desserts though which was frustrating, and the drinks were very expensive, so most people waited for happy hour. Nice cocktails though. Also, they have a dance floor.

Great venue, been here a few times for private events and as a space it's great - 4 rooms and bars, a decent amount of seating and a pretty funky light-up dancefloor which is good fun! The food is pretty lifeless and very slow service, bit as it's in the city there's not much else nearby on a Saturday evening. It smelt quite heavily of disinfectant for the first few hours and the toilets were not kept adequately stocked of tissue. Generally the staff were nice and friendly. The layout of the place is great and I really enjoy the events we have here as the pros outweigh the cons.

The bar tender was very rude and arrogant.Male dark hair, short body building he looks South American I heard him speaking Spanish but he is not Spanish. I was standing by the counter waiting to be served and he simply ignored me it was not that busy. He was drinking behind the bar I don’t think that was professional at all. I got so upset from waiting then I asked him can I order drinks then he said I am busy at that point he was not doing anything then I told him you are taking the piss and he replied back saying yes I am taking the piss and I am not serving you the guy next him he was collecting glasses asked him to come down (bless him) then he came to serve me and start banging everything. I would like to tell this guy customers should be treated with respect. There is a big choice of bars in the city with great customer service. He needs to be grateful and loyal to the company he works for and give a good image because he represents the brand.people put money and effort to build businesses and because of staff member like him ruined business reputation.The security staff were outstanding polite and friendly.

Not tacky as expected, jolly atmosphere and several dance floors to choose from with different music! Also happy hour offers are really good. Would come again.

This is a great bar located in the city of London. The crowd is young professionals. It has various rooms catering for different music tastes. There's ample seating around. Had an enjoyable night dancing to different genres of music. Will be returning again.

I liked the venue quite a lot. You have to keep your eyes peeled; it's quite easy to miss the entrance unless you know where it is. The bar/club is split into three sections that play different types of music (70s-80s/occasional cheesy record and more the other two sections play more modern tracks). The only let down was when the bars only accepted cash only due to a fault with their card machines.

I had a very good night in here, but would probably put that down to the company more than the venue. It's your standard city happy hour bar, full of twenty-something insurance staff and recruiters. Sticky floors, people going into cubicles two by two and rude door staff

I go there for the Salsa evenings on Tuesday and Wednesdays. The atmosphere is great cause the salsa people are very friendly. The place itself is ok, quite central. The staff are as friendly as they could be... So if you want to learn/salsa, go there on those days. I don't know how it is on other days as a "normal" bar.

Me and my wife went here for my staff party Saturday. It was a full venue private hire so can not comment on the type of crowd this place attracts as it was full of work colleagues. Very nice bar with friendly staff. Drinks prices are what you would expect. We drank bottles of house prosecco all night for £20 a bottle which is good. Plenty of seating throughout the venue and decor was quite cool. Awesome dance floor which I spent most of the night on embarrassing myself in front of my colleagues. Overall decent night would recommend it. Although due to the area being quiet on Saturdays I should imagine their busiest nights are Thursday and Friday. 👍

A great bar to hand with friends. What I loved about them was that they have 3-4 sequestered sections catering to different crowds. You can choose to have a quite dinner or go crazy on the colourful dance floor. They have regular salsa classes too.
