Oh dear. What was the highlight of the central London coffee scene and my very first five star review is now dire. Apparently Apostrophe had to sell out and it shows. Horrible uniforms, really disinterested staff and mediocre /poor coffee. And they've increased their prices. I think I'm being harsh because it was such a favourite of mine and now feel let down.

Shocking. Ordered a panini, salmon baguette, mint tea, and a cappuccino. Took 4 attempts to get the order across to the grunting man behind the counter got the drinks and grabbed a table. Turns out your supposed to stand there and wait whilst they cook the food (as there was less than a hand full of people and as every coffee shop everywhere brings it to the table I assumed it was coming)..I say cooked the cheese in my panini was still hard. The salmon was warmed up despite asking for it not to be cooked. Coffee was bitter. Still at least the mint tea was ok

Okay for a quick coffee break. Coffee alright, desserts tasty but rock hard. Not friendly service.

Both managers are quite rude and probably just left school of witches, they exploit people ( potential staff members) for free on busy time which is illegal action and don't care about guidelines from head office, that's terrible attitude and top of the rudness. Cappuccino and hot chocolate are terrible here. Ugly place!

The Baker Street branch is a particular favourite, and this has to be one of my favourite chains. The sandwiches are delicious and reasonably priced, the tea is practically on tap and there are jugs of water to keep you nicely hydrated.I became so much of a regular that they even let me stay after closing, abusing the free wifi (two hours worth per customer) and drinking coffee until my pupils exploded.

I was not impressed by this place. Food was good but the service was terrible. Well, terrible is pretty strong word but the staff was incompetent and unresponsive to what I wanted and said. I'm not sure if I'll be going back... I hope it gets better.
