ASK Italian (Paddington) in City of London

We ordered Spaghetti al pomodoro and it was watery and very bland. I couldn't eat it at all. No amount of pepper, parmigiano and olive oil can save it. It was just tasteless. The staff removed it from the bill as we were not very happy about it. We talked to the manager to give our feedback and he said he actually likes this pasta... the pizza also costs at least 10 GBP but it's not Italian pizza. Overall, the food here is not Italian and I doubt it's being managed by an Italian chef based on the quality of the food. Also, it's not an affordable restaurant for the quality of the food they serve. Such a shame as it's a big space in a prime location.

Over the last year I’ve dined here with my mother numerous times a month because each time has been so fantastic. The managers are incredible and will genuinely do so much to make you feel comfortable and happy while dining with them. The food has always got such great flavour and taste! I highly recommend having lunch or dinner here if you’re ever in the area or have plans to visit soon!Thank you all so much for your continuous kindness and we will see you in the New Year 🙌🏻

Amazingly good, helpful staff, great menu and this particular restaurant is very pleasant. Old Post office building converted around 20 years ago with high ceiling and beautiful ambiance. Highly recommended

If you don't eat pastry then I would advise you go elsewhere . Very poor selection of food since the whole menu offers only pasta or bread as the main ingredients. I had no other choice so asked staff as to have many bread contains in the 'chicken breast with mushrooms & rigatoni' dish. To my question the man replied 'very few'. As а result, the ratio of pasta to other ingredients turned out to be very high. I could barely find anything but pasta on the plate. Photos attached for attention. Would never come back.

Great affordable Italian food. The wine was also quite delicious and not too expensive. This is the perfect too for people with allergies or dietary restrictions. Have a whole separate menu for vegans!

Perfect. Quick service, good prices and a nice table overlooking the quiet street. Decent choice of pasta, pizza and Italian classics. Wine very good and a 50ml carafe set me up nicely.

Sosos WONDERFUL!!! I ordered my meal online through the website and came a little early. They spilt it I asked if I could sit at the bar and have a beer while I waited they were so nice and even game me a bear complimentary!! Super good food and super nice people!!

A lovely restaurant for a relaxed and casual dinner. The staff was friendly and accommodating of the pram. They also have very good options for vegans. They currently have their summer pink lemonade which is nice and refreshing.

Didn't feel Italian at all really. Basic food and mediocre service. Perfect location seems such a shame it doesn't hit the spot

What is this sorcery!? I didn't even know that this was a chain!The food is really good, and this location in particular is super nice.Unfortunately I wasn't really hungry so I only got to try a couple of things.I would recommend trying the shouffle though! The calamari were good... but maybe not the best thing in the menu if you are doubting!
