I just travelled over an hour in traffic across London at 4 in the morning to have breakfast here with my partner. Prior to travelling I rang the restaurant to make sure that they were indeed a 24 hour establishment and that they had availability for us to dine. Upon arrival we were met by an extremely aggressive and rude Eastern European doorman whom without explanation or apology refused us entry. When I tried to enquire why, he proceeded to be even more rude and dismissive of us. Myself and my partner had no alcohol this evening and were merely trying to be spontaneous and fun by going out for an early morning breakfast. I am truly shocked and offended at how this establishment treated myself and my partner. I would definitely not recommend giving this restaurant business.

Nil points!This was supposed to be a birthday brunch. Don’t come here. Awful experience.Tried to reserve in advance but we couldn’t and told to arrive and be seated.Even a glass of water took 5 minutes!Rude service upon arrival.So we have arrived and have been waiting for over 30 minutes for our order. A full 60 minutes after arriving. After all the waiting the food arrived luke warm!They didn’t have the main items on the menus, and we were only told when we were placing our order and made to reconsider all our choice.I wouldn’t waste your time.Wasn’t worth the gratuity charge!Ruined a birthday celebration.

Cosy little cafe with a classy feel. Excellent coffee and even better food. Due to the size of the cafe you'll likely be sat in close proximity to other people - but wouldn't put me off returning.

Loved this coffee shop, so unique.The server had an extensive knowledge about coffee and was very well read up on their products.It was a great experience.The shop was clean, welcoming and had some pretty cool, healthy plants.I do really recommend grabbing a coffee from here, either on the go or sit in.

Food and service is always fantastic. If you're in Soho. It's a must visit. Doesn't get much better than Balans. Both restaurant and cafe are amazing.

What a little gem this place is! Beautiful fresh ingredients and quick, friendly service. The only small negative is that it is fairly compact and can feel a bit chaotic, especially when busy at the weekends, they do their best with the space they have.The larger one down the road feels more relaxed but overall a great place for a beautiful breakfast !;

My first visit to Balans since before lockdown in 2020. Definitely worth the wait! Fantastic food and drinks and the service was friendly, efficient and professional.

It's 2 am. What do you do? You go to balans and order pancakes if you have the munchies. The staff were excellent even at that time. If I'm in the area, definitely headed back.
