Nice pub, good atmosphere, clean and tidy and great bar food, the bar staff member could have been a bit more attentive instead of being totally distracted by her friends at the end of the bar though!!

Nice place BUT they rip off tourists, watch out !!! That wasn't fair to charge us a pint and to serve us a half. They laugh at us, in front of us, proud of their fraud and because we don't speak a good English. I don't recommend this place to any visitor ! You must be ashamed

Just arrived from Dublin needing to feed the family came across this lovely bar. Lovely atmosphere and really good pub food. We had large fish and chips was very tasty.Meat kebab little tough but very nice gravy was fabulous of this dish.Cheese and Ham toasty was like Christmas ham really 5*Chicken and bacon toasty was amazing alsoHighly recommend coming in and having food you won’t be disappointed. Christmas atmosphere was very cozy.

Nice and compact pub. Beer and mulled wine was good.

Hendricks Gin served in a wrong glass, than advertised, no cucumber. Unfriendly staff.

Employees are attentive and can pour a good beer as well as give recommendations for a nice G&T. Food is quick and tastes good. Great for a calm afternoon with a Sunday roast or nachos. Alternatively, good place to get the night started. If you sit by the bar at table 1, you can get bar service without having to get up.

Lovely pub this is what a pub should be like. Staff really helpful and welcoming would definitely return.

Pub was nice but we came in for food as well as drinks. Some of us ordered on the app to then find out they had closed their kitchen. Tiny little sign on the bar barely noticeable and nothing to stop you ordering on the app. They could have told us when we ordered drinks, as they could clearly see we were looking at the food menu as well. Got it cheaper in the same chain of pubs 1 minute walk down the road.

Boisterous and compact pub. I haven't been there for a while, however, it always seems to be quite busy. There was food was available to order. It is a few meters from the station, so easy to find. It has one bar so some times it could get busy

Classic British pub interior decor, big windows, convenient and easily accessible from the underground stations, huge tourist footfall in this area, however ...... we were disappointed with the meal. Yorkshire pudding - dry, tasteless, burnt crispy top rather than freshly cook crisp. Couple of slices of sirloin steak. Green beans - raw. Steak and ale pie - not much meat in there, green beans raw. Verdict: it would appear meals were prepared for visiting tourists who will dine for experience, never to come back. The thing is, we are not tourists, but will never come back based on this experience. Another sad thing is, we cannot even recommend the pub to visiting guests. This is a British pub, although has walls and ceiling ... felt like we were dining in the middle of a farm, where staff don't seem interested to have a quick chit chat with customers, but more interested to have chit chat amongst themselves. Do remember body language speaks louder than words. Sorry folks, you need to do better to make your paying customers feel valued. The real British hospitality if you don't mind ... please?
