Haven't been to Benito's in a while and thought, why not? Popped in and was greeted by Dominic. Some of the items were not available but he was apologetic about it and told me what they did have. Food was nice, service was friendly.

We visited it because we wanted to have burritos and it was recommended online. it was a great disappointment though. The fillings for the burrito were pre-cooked and the taste was not that good.

I had pulled pork burrito set menu and it was super delicious. Big portion and fair price.

I feel rather bad for leaving a negative review, but my experience was really poor...First, I came into the restaurant and stood for what seemed a long time at the bar, waiting for someone to come. At the far end, one member of staff was having his dinner (which is fair) and another was half laying on the bar, keeping him company. After some time, this one stood up and started to make a move towards my general direction, stopping half way through, to pick a tray of dirty dishes, then put it back down again, and finally coming to where I have been waiting and looking at her since I arrived. She comes and looks blankly at me. I asked her if she was OK and she said "Yes", no other words exchanged...Being my first time in Benito's, I asked for one of the meals on the menu and asked to have them in a bowl to take away. She didn't seem to understand what I asked for and I apologised for this being my first time there and didn't know how to order correctly...She just said, "rice?". Yes please, I said. "Beans?" Now, I had a choice of 7 leftover red beans in one container or a handful more of well overcooked and crusty black beans in the other. After looking at them, thankfully, she turned around and got a new container, just behind her, of red beans that didn't look that bad..., faced with the options, I got some of the new ones."What do you want?" She asked pointing at the meats... Chicken, please."What else?" I don't know, I said, what's on offer? She looked down on the filings tray... I'll have Pico de gallo, cheese and guacamole... "That's one more pound", Ok!..."Medium or hot sauce?" Medium, please."There's no medium... oh, wait" then a bottle full of medium sauce appeared from where the beans came from...I went to pay and the credit card machine said "Out of paper" which I pointed out and the other staff member, who had finished his dinner, came and changed it with a smile.Thank you! Could I please have a receipt? She came around the till, pulled the credit card receipt and handed it to me...Could I please have a till receipt? No.I have worked in customer services and catering. I know how tiring it is and how difficult some customers are.I also understand that we have some bad days...But I really felt I was bothering this lady and she made no effort to hide it.All in all, not the best experience I've ever had...Not coming back.

We had booked a table for a pre theatre bite to eat with my children. However, when we arrived there were no reservations in place. This left us needing to find an alternative before the show on a busy Saturday night. You shouldn't allow bookings if you won't honour them.

I feel horribly upset specifically for this store. I love Benito's food and I became a regular customer since 2017. Even if a am coeliac I been advised that I could eat everything a part of the wrap. I was amazingly happy! The main issue is not the food, but the staff dealing with it. Every time they prepare a meal they touch the wrap with every singular spoon. Which is extremely danger and quite a same for me not really able to enjoy the food anymore. Once I told to the guy who was serving me didn't even know what gluten even means. Last time I been there on the 18 of December and I told a member of staff if she could change her gloves to prepare my bowl because of my intolerance and she did serve quite few customer before me. She looked at me so disappointed, and she completely avoided me and decided no to serve me.The manager served me but he didn't realized what happened as the shop was very busy. I mention to him about the situation and he replied to me that probably she didn't know about gluten allergy as she was new.The company should provide a proper training regarding food safety and standards before someone dies!

Very nice food. Not five stars because the blond waiter was not very kind to us. We arrived there on a Friday at 20.25 and she said only take away as they close at 21.00. Told her that then they should update the opening times in Google Maps (which says it is open until 22.00), and she said "I don´t know" and paid a look to us like "who cares". I told her I would leave this review so other people can know, and then she did an effort to treat us with a little more consideration. As they do not seem to care, I myself have suggested an edit of opening times to google maps, so hopefully other families do not need to take their food in the street.

I came here today on my own and had a '5 a day' vegan burrito. The speed of service was good. The burrito itself was big so you can get a lot of food for your money. The taste was didn't meet my expectations so I'm not sure if I would come here again.

The chicken is halal, vegan options, the waiters are amazing and the food is phenomenal!!! Highly recommended!!! The price point is amazing, especially for being in Oxford st!

Tried this place and was very impressed. Quick and good service with a great atmosphere and good music that had me rocking along with my lunch. I had a naked barbacoa beef burrito kosher style with no cheese (fyi restaurant is not certified kosher) with nacho on the side as it comes with it. Very filling but not to the point of bursting so you still sit comfortably. I would definitely come here and eat again. Love my home town more when I find little gems like this on the back streets.
