Blue Boar Bar in City of London

The moment we walked in we felt welcome. Staff were helpful and smiling and the atmosphere was so chilled. Top notch food, top notch place to visit. Will definitely visit again. Thanks guys

My wife and I visited twice during our stay at the Conrad St. James. The venison, juniper, & red wine pie was Devine! The British Gosnell Mead was also a great choice to try.

I've been here a few times as its near my husband's work in London. The service is always great and the staff are so nice, nothing is too much trouble.They do delicious food in the pub, there's also a restaurant in the back but we haven't tried this yet, it does looks really nice too.Last time I was there was NYE pre drinks before a late dinner elsewhere. Even though they were busy their service never lacked.It's in a prime location by St James's park, about a 10min walk from Victoria Station and only a couple mins from St James's Station. Great atmosphere, great drinks, delicious food, try it!

Lovely atmosphere and great cocktails. Great for a comfy chat and a drink. I haven't tried the food but definitely will.

Spent my new year's Eve party with a few friends and had the best night ever! Classy bar and great service. Will definitely be returning in 2022!

ROBBED at New Year's Eve Celebration!The pub is very nice with a good atmosphere, but unfortunately our night at the pub's New Year's Eve celebration was ruined by the robbery of my purse. My husband and I paid GBP10 each for a guest-only, private New Year's Eve celebration and apparently someone breached the security of the pub or of the Conrad Hotel (to which the pub is integrated) and stole an expensive purse of mine with important documentation while I was celebrating at the pub's dance floor. We suffered major losses - not only my purse was very important to me but we also had to cancel international trips of the following week because I had no more ID to travel. I estimate about GBP1,000 of total losses in the night. The manager of the pub was thoughtful and supportive, but we felt really upset as we thought we were at a safe place to celebrate. If you go there, make sure to carry all your belongings with you EVEN to go to the toilet...

Great "members bar" atmosphere. Food is good. Decent range of bar and restaurant style spaces

One of the more civilised places to have a drink of an evening. Excellent table service, a good selection of ales and spirits, and a calm and pleasant ambience in which to unwind. Food is also excellent, as befits the neighbouring hotel. Thoroughly recommended.

Found by accident and had the best fish and chips. A cod fillet with triple cooked french fries and their own tartar sauce... This is a must-have visited for the full British pub experience

I've made it a bit of a tradition to come here each time I stay in London since I love it so much. The design of the pub is very classy and atmospheric, the menu provides a nice variety of meals, both full meals and lighter lunches, they have a large drinks menu and I must say the desserts are great too!!The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location of the pub is ideal for onward travel and to reach the river for an after dinner walk!
