Blue Lagoon - Haymarket in City of London

Beautiful dinner, a tad over priced. Fantastic location - straight across from Her Majesty's Theatre. Wonderful experience including live entertainment. Would recommend.

We had a lovely "set meal" before going to the Theatre next door for the evening performance. The staff were patient and attentive. The food was delicious with good size portions. Felt thoroughly spoilt in a wonderful setting. We enjoyed our dining experience.

Staff, food and drink were fantastic. Would definitely go back again, we were never rushed during our meal or over-interrupted. From taking our coats to drinks at the bar to enjoying a meal with friends it was a great evening. Thank you Brumus.

This was a very disappointing Afternoon Tea -Service was shocking - a classic example of not caring, instead, a preference to rest on reputation and opt for ignorancePossibly the worst service I’ve ever had at a five star hotel, where the maitre d was happy to argue the point rather than wanting to solve the issue.1. Took take minutes to be serviced (had to ask for service)2. Chip in glass3. Delivered tea without identifying which one was which, when asked, maitre d said he’d have to take them into the kitchen and smell which was which 😱….4. Finger sandwiches were stale - unbelievable l!!!!! Clearly left out in the kitchen5. Maitre d simply was shocking - inability to be able to resolve, turnaround a poor situation and make it good.Really an awful service and very poor leadership. Very very disappointed in the Haymarket hotel for allowing their staff to represent them like that.

The government in Russia is hiding the truth from you! There is war in Russia, it is war against Ukraine and it has nothing to do with peace keeping. Putin wants to take control of Ukraine, and this is true warfare, not some Ukrainian lunatics irritating Russia. Stay strong, and stay safe, no matter what you will make it through these hard times.

Really fantastic service, which I would rate 5 stars. The food was ok, my main course lacked seasoning and a general punch of flavour. I had sticky toffee pudding which was divine.

Very disappointed in the food and the service for what was a very expensive meal. Food was bland and extortionately priced…even for London standards. We were not even asked at the end of the meal how everything was to be given the chance to convey our disappointment. Bitterly disappointed and out a fortune for a sub standard meal in the city.

For me, for the money, not worth it. Having said that the service was excellent and the steak good.

Remarkable experience, delicious dining, profesional staff and elegant decor. The food was also reasonably priced (we went with prior booking with Open Table and their set menu) but a'la carte looked sane as well. There was one issue with our food, still very tasty, and I must admit that the manager handled it extremely professionally. I was positively surprised by the quality and quantity of food. They also have some sitting outside area which must be incredible when the weather is pleasent.It is a perfect place for a date or special celebration.Pictures include: chicken, broccoli soup and pear-pistachio cake.

Afternoon tea review (24£)!We booked the afternoon tea for two.The host took our coats and was very polite and friendly.Service was very good with explanations and asking if we were okay throughout our time there.The sandwiches were okay, there is cucumber, salmon, egg, and ham which was weird.The scones were warm and nice.The sweets were delicious, especially the macaroons.Tea was good and also my coffee.It was a good value for the price including the fancy atmosphere.Very good experience for typical afternoon tea in London.Well recommended.
