Very interesting and in a good way. We have been to Bob Bob Ricard's other London location, but this was our first time at the City venue. Still carrying across the blue Room and red Room themes, it was a lovely place to take some out of town visitors. Chateaubriand amazing.

The food was really, the beef wellington was delicious! Very easy to get a dud and these guys did it to perfection. We also had tartare as a starter, which for me was perfect as it was simple but really good quality and tasty. The deserts were really good too, and the decor of the place is a bit different so a nice change from the norm. Kind of like a fancy diner! A bit expensive, but we knew that before going so can't complain on that front. Didn't try the caviar, maybe next time

A really lovely place. We went for Christmas day lunch as a special treat and weren't disappointed. The space is gorgeous and really feels like you're on the Orient Express, the service was great and the champagne bell is a fun novelty. The food was good but not fantastic, though we didn't have caviar or oysters, which is probably what you should do! Book this restaurant for the experience

I have been to Bob Bib Ricard in Soho but first time in City, they never betray me! The decor in the restaurant is just wow, you can see it’s based on luxurious trains and when you get the box seat, it feels as if you’re travelling somewhere. The food is always high-quality and they serve something that I can’t cook at home, which makes me think they deserve such a high price. We came here for late lunch and had vareniki for starter, and then beef tartare for main. It was a perfect amount of food but if you come for proper dinner, make sure to order more than your expectation as each potion isn't massive.

Lovely place for a special occasion, amazing food.Obviously a very expensive place but it’s defiantly worth a a visit for a special occasion. The venue is stunning and breath taking, service prompt and friendly and the food did not disappoint.European food isn’t usually my first choice for a special occasion but the French Onion Soup and Beef Wellington we’re delicious and unforgettable.Only wish it was a little more atmospheric, when we went on a Thursday evening it was pretty empty.

Visited Bob Bob Ricard for dinner and had a thoroughly excellent experience from start to finish. The decor is a classy mix of Art Deco and modern chic, the staff are very attentive without being intrusive and service is just so. We ordered the Oscietra Caviar and Rock Oysters, both of which were delicious. For starters, Russian dumplings, one portion with Truffle, Potato and Mushroom Vereniki and another with Lobster, Crab and Shrimp Pelmeni. Of the two, the truffle were just a little more flavourful but I would highly recommend both. Mains were the Turbot Coulibiac with Champagne Sauce (incredible dish, fish was full of flavour and perfect consistency) and the Moules au Champagne, possibly the largest portion I’ve ever had and cooked to absolute perfection. Because my partner and I have a penchant for Mac and Cheese, we ordered another main course of the Truffle Macaroni because they didn’t do it as a side dish. This was rich and decadent, possibly not the best accompaniment for the subtle flavours of the mussels, but excellent nonetheless. Also a very nice tenderstem broccoli. Dessert came in the form of their Île Flottante, a poached, roasted almond dipped meringue sphere, in crème anglaise. A nice subtly sweet dish a splendid end to an impeccable meal. Will certainly be coming back

Really enjoyed the restaurant as stated below but both my partner and I were ill in the following two days, which I can only guess was from the meal 😞Christmas dinner at Bob Bob Ricard, fantastic service, food was devine. Oysters were top notch, salmon tartare really good, mains also delicious. Restaurant is pricey but service, decor and food taste is great! *Edit, not worth it if it makes you sick as it did us 😭

Gorgeous place and amazing food!!! As you are guided to your table you walk through the amazing decor inspired by the orient express and you have 2 rooms....the blue cabin and red cabin. Both are beautiful. And as for the food...wow wow wow!!!! We had the truffle patato and mushroom vereniki as a starter and a beef wellington as mains and it wow was it tasty. You could taste all the flavours and the way it was cooked was just perfect. The beef wellington is something i would definitely recommend. The mocktails were amazing too. Only thing i did not enjoy was the roasted carrots and parsnips. They add syrup to it to make it sweet but it was too sweet for my liking. Other than that this place is a must to visit and enjoy food in an amazing ambience.

Attended one of their "soft" (re?)opening lunch sessions.First impressions were wow! Brilliant welcome from everyone including the security team who ensure that you get to the restaurant on level 3. The interior is very impressive and the menu inviting.Showed to a booth, love the champagne request button!Starters between us French Onion soup (brilliant) salmon tartare, lobster crab & shrimp pelmeni (great).Mains, chicken & champagne pie, moules au champagne and pan fried veal liver. The mains are generously portioned. The liver is thick cut and served rare which is not to everyone's liking. The moules also where not as expected.Deserts flaming creme brulee, theatrical and great. Rice pudding & plum compote served cold and very good.A very good lunch, some slight issues which are easily solved over time.We will return.
