Bright Courtyard in City of London

The food is great everytime. If you're a beef lover get the black pepper beef. The service is good. The ambiance is very nice as well. Great restaurant. Highly recommended.

Had to wait for a table even with reservations, no one was serving us at the beginning. Very disappointed and seemed disorganised. The dining experience was not great either, noisy and with kids around. Overall, dissatisfied even before we were seated. Food is just average, price definitely gone up a bit during the pandemic. Overall decent value of price.

Whaoo their food was very delicious. I will encourage to visit. I will love to return there someday. And atmosphere smell really nice and clean.

The food quality is always great here. I eat in and some cases I order, the quality is as good as when eating in. All dishes taste good, it is hard to pick a favorite. I shared some photos from our last visit for inspiration.

I was really excited to try the bright courtyard club out, the pictures from fellow reviewers looked promising. But I was so disappointed when we got our food. Everything was either sweet or had too much “Chinese 5 spice powder” everywhere.. We went for dim sum.. The dinner looks better..

Excellent Shanghai cooking restaurant, the real deal, exactly as you would get in China (although there you would probably pay a fraction of the price). The lobster is fantastic, and almost any dish you order there will be amazing.The only “but” I can think of is the quality of the service and the location compared with the price you are paying. You can easily end up paying in the order of 100gbp per person in this restaurant, but the atmosphere is not that great and the service is just okay. I would not recommend for a romantic date or for a special occasion, there are much better places in London that give you a much better experience.

This looks like a fancy Chinese restaurant as it's so large and spacious. Price of the menu is more than what I'm used to for a Chinese place so I had high hopes. Staff were helpful and friendly and it was cool to see the Peking duck being carved in front of you. Unfortunately, that's where the compliments end. The dishes were too oily and disappointing. Even the vegetables left a coat of oil in my mouth. The Chilean seabass did look impressive though. Food was ok, but didn't match the high end price. Lucky we dined on a 50% offer.Wheelchair access ❌. For such a large restaurant, it's a shame they didn't have accessible toilets. The actual restaurant is step free though.

I have been here several times. Excellent environment and friendly staffs; one of the nice Chinese restaurants in London. Foods are mostly Cantonese style and delicious.

Dim sum here has been average. Liked the mixed seafood congee and iberico pork dumpling. Everything else was average. Durian pastry puff had almost zero taste of durian so may as well get a traditional egg tart.

One of the best dim sum places in town. Authentic Shanghainese food (from a Shanghainese perspective), and one of the only if not the only place in London to have Da Zha Xie (Yang Cheng Lake Crab)
