Bubba Gump Shrimp Co in City of London

The atmosphere is really nice and the place is very huge. U can enjoy going around to see the Forest Gump movie pictures and decorations. The seafood is OK but too much greasy, and the service is too slow

Not a pleasant experience. Food was nothing like the US. It was oily & dry. Waitressing can be better. The waitress did not repeat the order & we ended up with a dish we did not order but still tried it & paid for it.

Food was good but the interior really takes the cake.If you're a film lover you will love all the Easter eggs in the restaurant.Restaurant was quite busy but they still managed to deliver our menu is good time.The menu is a hit and miss with the flavours, and the pricing is above the average.Pro tip: Run forest run

This review would have been 4 stars but for the fact the place was freezing cold, the staff being clueless on a parking offer* and not explaining the Red and Blue Number plate system to get them to stop at your table.The food was tasty and well cooked and served promptly.Tried to get in a few weeks previously but was turned away due to not having a reservation, so best to check ahead.* Q parking Whitcombe Street is less than 5 minutes walk away and Bubba Gump will give you a ticket that will only charge £17,50 for the day, normal price is £9.00 an hour.

We went as a family and this is a decent place to dine. Would recommend making a reservation before as they don't take walk-ins. The staff are friendly and yes, it does offer halal food also. They have their certification on display. The food is good and service is good. If you've been to Bubba Gump's in the US, the portions here in the UK are much smaller. The Cajun Shrimp was AMAZING! The only let down is the portion size and the prices they charge. Next time we visit, we will book a Groupon voucher instead.

Was really looking forward to going here but left feeling really disappointed.Lady on the door was grumpy, waited quite a while to be seated. Order was taken pretty quickly, I asked if the broil was enough to feed 2 got told yes but it wasn't. My daughter ordered a macaroni cheese pizza, this was just magerita. When the broil came it was dumped on the table in the saucepan with the lid on. I tried to take the lid off and burnt myself. I asked staff what I was supposed to do with it, they said that staff are supposed to tip the contents on to a plate at the table and take the saucepan away. Brilliant. We were sat right by the room where the dirty plates go with no door, when there was ample seating throughout the restaurant. We went when children ate free, waited ages for bill as no one seemed to know how to take the kids menus off the bill. Half way through our meal my 5 year old accidently spilt her drink on the floor, we had a roll of tissue on the table for food and my partner was on his hands and knees moping it up. 3 members of staff stood right next to us watching him clean it up, not one offered to even take away the dirty tissue which we had to sit next to for the rest of our meal nor asked if we wanted to order another drink for her.All in all for a themed restaurant what a disappointment. Staff seem like they have no idea of what's going on, and most seemed miserable to be there. As I say I was so looking forward to going and it was my birthday but would have been better off at McDonald's round the corner. We won't be visiting again.

Cajun shrimp was amazing, I will definitely come back to it. We also had : Artichoke and spinach,Coconut Shrimp, and Tilapia with Lobster Sauce. All of them were good. Nice American atmosphere in the restaurant. Prices are medium to high.

You could tell that the staff were really busy, but this didn't impact the service we received. They ensured that all our food was ready ahead of our theatre visit. The shrimp was tasty and the portions were huge. Would recommend

Had a pleasant visit, we attended the Leicester Square branch for our 1 year anniversary. (Luckily we booked way in advance). I honestly couldn’t fault the service. There was a short wait to be seated but after speedy table service the food was incredible. Really liked the idea of the red and blue signs so the staff know when you’re ready to order and they were well on the ball. The only let down was rude customers towards the staff who had no control over their issues. They handled them well too.

Everything about Bubba Gump Shrimp was exceptional. Food was great, environment was engaging and detailed intricately. The staff were exceptional and professional, never failing to be kind and serviced us to immaculate standards, creating a great family environment as well.We will definitely bring my draughters next time to enjoy!
