Busaba Eathai - Covent Garden in City of London

Busaba Covent Garden is my absolute favourite restaurant. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal; especially the calamari from the small plates! All the staff are friendly and always efficient, happy and polite. My friend wanted to take home the chef. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Covent Garden.

I want to start off this review by saying that I am only giving 4/5 stars and not perfection for a single, but largely improvable aspect of the restaurant. Ambience is great, food as well, I have personally visited several times, with different experiences, but several things have been constant throughout them. Food quality has always been on point, that is to be said, on the other hand, what has not at all kept up with it is the service. Too slow and does not handle well the large numbers of people. If you go on a less busy day or are not bothered by the wait, it's totally worth, really good thai + inexpensive!!

I was really grateful to get a table as I hadn’t prebooked. Restaurant is still operating at a reduced menu (I presume this is Covid related). Two out of three small dishes were delicious, as was the cocktail I ordered. However, the serving staff are not as attentive as I would have liked. This ultimately led to my decision to not order further food and drinks.

Friendly staff. Where we were sat was bit tight, middle of the restaurant and tables were super close. Food was ok, not very authentic, presentation so so. The black pepper beef noodles way way too spicy. Pad Thai was edible. Coconut rice and calamari was ok too. Served my teapot of Jasmin pearl with a cup that was stained with tea stains, had to get it changed. Overall experience was average.

This is our one of most favourite restaurants and the best thing about Busaba is the food is always amazing i love their consistency with the food they never disappoint us ❤️

Service was impeccable and very friendly, great on a busy Saturday night. Food came out in good time and was really tasty, my green curry was a bit greener than I’ve seen at other busaba’s but tasted great. We had the coconut and pineapple tea with our dessert which was lovely.

Had a beautiful experience at Busaba for my brother's 27th Birthday - the plates were exquisite, and the decor amazing! Usually go for the Pad Thai in Thai restaurants but this time decided to go for the Chargrilled Half Chicken, which was sensational! 100% would recommend Busaba Eathai Covent Garden for those looking for their next restaurant to dine in London.Will be dining at Busaba again very soon :)

Amazing Thai restaurant. Relaxing atmosphere. We had pretty tasty lunch with calamari and classic pad Thai. Said and his team (manager on duty as he said) gave us a great experience 👍 Higly recommended 🙏🙏
