Cafe Nero, Trafalgar Square, London in City of London

I came in yesterday and asked the 2 girls behind the counter to charge my phone as I’m from Scotland and was in London for the day by myself with no charger. Obviously thought they were being quiet when they called Scottish people fat for inventing the deep fried mars bar. Couldn’t have felt anymore uncomfortable, both stuck up wee cows with a stinking attitude

Great spot to actually sit and have a coffee. It is in central London so footfall is high and it does get busy wit people seemingly just using the toilet. Not the fault of Cafe Nero though, just worth mentioning.

My wife and I were in London and decided to go for a nice coffee in Cafe Nero in Trafalga Square which started off nice until we asked to use the toilet to change our 9 week old baby, only to be refused by the manager Luili Iulianoas the toilet was out of order. When we explained we were not going to use the toilet but wanted to change our baby who was screaming hysterically at this point he still refused us. Even when we asked to use the staff toilet he again was unwilling to help and refused.I explained under their licensing laws he should be providing his customers with this basic facility.We were left with no choice but to leave and find another coffee shop locally regrettably after spending over £15...We left feeling very unimpressed with the attitude of the staff at this Cafe Nero and we certainly won't be going back here again. This is not a family friendly place to go...

Very cute location with big seating area. The blueberry muffin and chai latte I ordered were great. Located directly at Trafalgar Square, the cafe offers a great view!

My advice and that of my wife and two friends is to avoid this place if you appreciate good coffee. The service is slow and the coffee is rubbish. I don't say this easily because bad reviews affect businesses adversely. The coffee I got there is so bitter that I'd say it's the worst I've ever had. I've been to many Cafe Nero shops and none of them have coffee like this cheap stuff.Not only that but look at the seat pic. What kind of business operates with seats like that?Do yourself a favour and avoid this place.

Only problem was the wait for the toilet, the cafe was very comfortable. The back windows could do with a clean outside but the tables were spotless.

Good, cozy place. It was nice to have good cup of coffee and really delicious snacks after long riverside walk. Confidently recommend.

Delicious coffee and food. We stayed at The Trafalgar and we grabbed breakfast here several times. I loved the mocha and quiche. The croissants were my kids favorites.

Great place to chill, particularly on a hot sunny day. Strategically located just opposite Trafalgar Square. Cozy ambience. Ample seats with good service too. Staff were attentive with good manners. Serves italian coffee with reasonable price. Caffe Nero is a chain of cafe in London, not to be missed.

Love this branches location. Spacious with comfortable seating and plenty.of power points for all your electrics.Fantastic location for people watching.The coffee and the service is always lovely.However the toilets were out of order.
