Nicely decorated, on the first floor at Hotel Cafe Royal. Good food, impeccable service and a good wine list, reasonably priced for a restaurant like this. We liked the sushi and the Dover sole.

One of the most impressive restaurants that I've been to lately. I can't find fault with anything I was served. Service and ambiance were also superb!

We had a delicious meal. There's a very nice ambiance in this place, it is chic but not snobby. The bar illuminates over a restaurant of parquet flooring, and a black vinyl ceiling. The sirloin steak was really good. Our waitress Erisa was very friendly and attentive. Laurent served as a really nice backdrop to catch up with an old friend and eat some good food. I'd definitely come here again. If I could pick any area for improvement, the soundtrack was a kind of soothing elevator music cover playlist - no one should ever have to hear a singer-songwriter-lady cover Nirvana's "Smell's Like Teen Spirit" at 1/8x speed in a sultry tone (and then continue to cover Bob Marley and Eurythmics with the same thing).

I never thought grits could be done gourmet, but the mushroom grits at Laurent definitely proved me wrong! Very creative dish that tasted amazing.

Tried the Feast menu (3 dishes with 1 bellini, 32£): the menu was not the same as the online version (no truffle starter, not the same fish for main dish) which was a little disappointing. The dishes were ok, without being amazing:the tuna roll was good, the cooking of the steak was as requested... the dessert was a little above the other dishes for the presentation and the taste, which is a good point to finish in a positive feeling the dinner. The ratio quality/price is quite interesting. The service was really good, all staffs being helpful and very polite. The venue is nice (part of a hotel, with multiple var, tea room, etc).I would retry it with the a la carte dishes, to hope raising the rating to 4☆

Interesting concept - mix of steak and sushi, amazing venue with beautiful rooms overlooking Regent Street. Service was top notch, as was the food. Highly recommended for a date night, does not feel like a hotel restaurant whatsoever.

Incredible food, amazing service and beautiful atmosphere! Even the music was perfect - not too loud, not to quiet. Re:food our top picks were the crispy shrimp sushi and Angus steaks (my onglet was surprisingly delicious). Salt and vinegar chips were very good.Great cocktails, and our wine was paired perfectly, especially the dessert wine with the Hibiscus & Red Berry Crepe Soufflé - divine! Thanks especially to our waiter (can’t remember his name - sorry!!) and to Sam the sommelier and Florent the assistant manager who both spent time discussing the menu and wines without being pushy or over-the-top. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will return!

Decent location and environment. I preferred the seafood they made than the beef.
