Lovely 3 courses of food for a great price in Central London and perfect to satisfy you before going to a West End show. Well worth a visit.

We had a lovely meal and the staff were very friendly. We used the taste card, which was 2 for 1. So saved us, lots of money. It was a limited menu and only had 1 Vegan option. Which I was thrilled at the choice 🙄. The chips were cooked in the same oil as the meat, so even they weren't vegan. I was left with a salad, which was literally just leaves and some cut up tomato and Burger. Which if you are Vegan, you do get sick of the only vegan options always being a burger (everywhere). They do usual have 2 vegan options but one was currently out of stock.

The food was so delicious. My favorite two dishes were the duck with cranberry sauce and the egg sandwich with sweet potato fries. Starters were just okay. Desserts were nice especially the fondant.

Just finished my main don't even want to stay for desert. The waitress was lovely the food was bland. The chef needs to learn how to cook steak and use seasoning. My partner ordered chicken supreme there was nothing supreme about it. Very plain and more like a broth with no flavour

Absolutely outrageous service staff had no care and no manners what so ever!!!! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ALLERGIES. Waiter didn't ever listen to what we were saying and got the whole order wrong. ESPECIALLY in coven gardens, I mean being their I'm sure you have a reputation

Love the simplicity of the menu. The food I've had here is great. I love the chicken sandwich and the house salad. The olives are wonderful for a starter. I have had the roasted chicken with leeks a few times and really enjoy the sauce. The wines are great here as well. Over all a simple, enjoyable food experience that made me come back twice in a week when I was last visiting London. The location is also fabulous.

Great service and food. Fitted us in even though we hadn't booked and they were busy. We thought service would be slow but the opposite. Waitress Elizabeth was superb: friendly and efficient. Good menu, possibly slightly less choice than before but something for everyone. Decent choice of wine. Great to see this Cafe Rouge still open as so many have closed.

A very bad experience. The starter on the mixed menu wasn't avalible which I can understand but should have been seen as for warning. I got a mocktini as usually they are quite nice at other places however at this restaurant they were almost completely soda. My steak was not edable. I swallowed one bite with difficulty and had to spit out the other two attempts into a napkin. I did not attempt the others. The chips were quite obviously frozen and very much like the ones from a supermarket. When my plate was taken no comment and question was made at the rather dismal state of my plate. I will say this, the mango sorbet was delicious. It was only during my desert I was able to comment on the steak frites and while I was given a small discount on that I plate, I felt that either the whole price of the dishl should have been comped or a new one should have been offered. At this point I was rather done with the restaurant and wanted to leave only to see the service charge of 3.90 and an additional charge of tap water (that I hadn't even asked for). Definatley would not reccomend as while the staff themselves were nice enough, the food was truly terrible.

Lovely place for the breakfast near to Greenwich park. Budget friendly also. One of the best vegan breakfast I have it. Staff are really polite.
