Caffe Nero in City of London

Good location, good staff, good service 👍 Recommend!

Horrible experience at a Nero ever- there was an Asian guy at the counter who was all alone making coffee.As soon as I approached the corner in a very rude manner he turned to me and made horrendous hand gestures to ask me what I wanted .never had such an experience at any Nero in the Uk .these guys should be taught how to behave .

Amazing Caffe Nero branch! I visit this branch often and I can honestly tell you that their Coffee's are better than Starbucks, Pret and Costa. The customer service at this branch is amazing and the staff members are all extremely friendly and will have a chat with you. I ordered a white chocolate mocha and a vegan vegetable sausage roll at £7.20 it is quite expensive but delicious (white chocolate mocha was £3.75 and the vegan vegetable sausage roll was £3.45) the white chocolate mocha was creamy, elegant and you there was a perfect blend between the white chocolate and coffee. The vegan vegetable sausage roll was delicious and they will heat it up for you but it feels so expensive when at Greggs you can get 4 vegan sausage rolls for £3. However, I guess Caffe Nero is more posh should I say than Greggs so the delicious products do come at a price. Social distancing measures and coronavirus protocols are firmly in place. Normally, there would be lots of internal and external seating for customers at this branch (the seating can accommodate large groups as pre covid, me and 5 of my colleagues would sit in and eat lunch here) The lunch options are great and I would strongly suggest the Vegan Meatless Meatball sub it is amazing and tastes really meaty! The dessert options are elegant! Honestly, the black forest roulade is suitable for the Queen! Overall, tucked underneath the AIG building, I would strongly recommend this branch Caffe Nero branch to you!

Love the coffee, love the ambience, love their loyalty card and app... Generally Nero is one of our most favourite places to go when out and about in London.

Very much more of the same without challenging expectations and unlikely to disappoint - adequately average. Bustling outside streetscape adds some ambient underpinning to the interior. Staff industry competent and industriously reticent.
