Just had lunch here - two plates of the most mediocre pasta I’ve ever had. The staff were friendly but the food was the sort of thing you’d buy from a supermarket and cook at home. Pass the salt.

My family booked a table here for my mum’s 73rd birthday and we had a wonderful evening! Pedro the Manager and Hector the waiter were fantastic! Provided top level service and made our experience one to remember! The food was absolutely delicious and came to the table from pan fresh and hot. Thank you Pedro and Hector for helping make my mum’s birthday so great!

Ordered two drinks at the bar, wasn't expecting to be handed a reciept with a ÂŁ3.50 service charge on it, after all I took the drinks back to our table myself!!Attempted to order some food, was handed the menu but he never returned to take our order, eventhough the restaurant was empty bar three other tables.Elderly gentleman sitting behind us I think ordered his food went away, maybe back up to his hotel room and this same member of staff left his food out on the table, just sitting there for about 10 minutes getting cold before the guest returned. Who does that, surely you keep the food warm in kitchen until the customer comes to the table. Very poorly trained staff member, either he just didnt care or had no common sense. Our visit was a big let down, and to top it all off my expensive glass of wine wasnt even probably chilled! Boo.

Very disappointed.I came to the Marriott hotel to have a dinner in the restaurant.I checked the web site which says that the restaurant close at 11 pm.I got there by 9:30 spoke to the reception team they told me the kitchen close at 10pm so we had only half an hour to order which fairy enough.I then been welcome by a lovely waiter which gave me a table and few minutes later O believe the manager has toldHim that the kitchen was closed so they then asked us to leave. The waiter was really apologetic and attentive very disappointed on the manager which could have come to us and give a better service.Won’t go back.

The waiters were not friendly at all, they had no personality and weren't keen on assisting us. Getting drinks and ordering was fine but it took 40 minutes to get our starters, a salad, paté and bread selection. Unless they were making the bread from scratch I don't know why it took so long to come. We only got our starters because we had to ask where our food was. We even heard another table complaining about the wait for their food.We didn't get offered more drinks even though we were sitting there with empty glasses. They eventually brought our mains over but they hadn't taken any of our starter plates away so there was no where for them to put the food on our table. The paté was nice but the rest of the food was average which was disappointing considering their price point and Marriott affiliation. The restaurant was less than half full but for some reason the waitress thought her time was better spent clearing empty tables and straightening chairs than taking away our empty starter plates, seeing if we wanted more drinks and clearing away empty glasses and bottles from our table. If it had been busy I can understand prioritising clearing an empty table and preparing it for the next customers but as I say, it was less than half full. We couldn't be bothered to wait for mediocre desserts so just had starter and main.

My first time visiting this restaurant chain last night. Our starter's took over 30 minutes to arrive. The mains took another 30 minutes. Not once did a member of staff check to see we are okay and happy. Food was warm, not hot. My sister inlaws pathetic carbonara was so dry it was inedible. Waiters were unenthusiastic. Not happy people. Our waiter didn't seem to know how to wait. Decided to leave our empty starter plates on the table and to fit our mains in between the gaps. Saw waiters walking around aimlessly. Straighting already straight chair. The restaurant only had 4 other family's. Another table also complained for the slow service

Carluccio's - Marriott Maida Vale is still a bit of a mixed bag. I assume its part of the same Carluccio's group which is usually very good. First the good the restaurant is bright and set in a well design space, also they are open all day so you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner here. The food is not memorable but OK and better than what other reviewers indicate so hopefully they are improving. The service good although still a bit slower than it should be. Carluccio's is a good place to go out with your friend or your family if you live nearby but hard to recommend to go out of the way for.

What a great new restaurant on the edge of Kilburn and Maida Vaile. Carluccio’s stands for authentic Italian dishes and quality, ordered a pasta which was superb and the tiramisu after was lovely. Good quality food and service by Italians! Try it!

Easy to find, this is a nice, bright, and airy restaurant, with plenty of seating inside. The main entrance was up a small flight of 3 stairs; easy to lift up a push chair, but would be a problem for a wheelchair. There might be an accessible entrance, but we didn't check.Although on a high street, it wasn't noisy. Pleasantly free of background 'music', too!All the staff were very helpful, and very friendly throughout our meal, without being intrusive at all.The menu choices were excellent, with plenty of gluten free versions, and a reasonable selection of dairy free options. The food arrived quickly after ordering, and the portions were generous. All the food we had was very tasty, and certainly worth the (perhaps?) slightly higher than average price. We enjoyed eating there, and would certainly be happy to go again.

Really pleased with this branch of Carluccio's ... ! Very friendly and polite staff which will go extra mile to make you feel welcomed ... The atmosphere is really nice, clean and spacious ! Will definitely recommend and will go back for more of their iced-cappuccino ... :) Also they use paper straws rather than plastic !!! Which is another plus for me for saving planet earth !
