Came here before going to see a show.I was a little worried at first because of the amount of noise and bustle. However when seated this became gentle babbling and was no issue for my hypersensitive ears.I had a theory at first. They must only employ Models or actors-because every member of staff is just beautiful-but it’s not beauty. It’s something far rarer.Happy staff, paid decently, in a job they might actually like! It’s a bloody revelation I tell you!Smiles everywhere and a real ambiance of gentle warmth and genuine goodness. The food is always exceptional so I don’t have anything to add that others have already said- it is always delicious and decently priced. Whiners who say their meal was small clearly eat more than this little piggy! I was stuffed!Thank you for a lovely meal!

Absolutely delicious food! As we were a large group, we had the sharing platter which was amazing! The black Dahl was the star of the show for me! I am hoping to go back to try the breakfast menu which I heard is also incredible! You can book for certain times of the day, although most of the tables are reserved for walk ins in the evening (prepare to queue/wait but it’s worth it if you have the time). Veggie/ Non Veggie Sharing platters available. If it’s your birthday they sign for you Highly recommend and cannot wait to go back.

It has been a delightful evening at Dishoom. Thank you especially Ibrahim with his warm friendly customer service my family and I were very settled comfortably. Its great to dine again at my favourite restaurant. From entering and leaving the restaurant all the employees were very kind, smiling and checking in on us regularly if we needed assistance especially the waiter who took care of us table 97 16pm booking. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the food is always good as it looks. I had taken plenty of videos of my food uploading straight to my socials, didnt want my followers to miss out the beautiful experience. Firstly thank you for the private booth, very spacious. The booth came with music and a fan which reminded a touch of India. We ordered a selection of small plates from lamb samosas, Okra fries, Keema & Pau bhajis, From the grill we decided to eat Spicy lamp chops, Gun powder potatoes, Chili chicken and Masala Prawns. I ordered the chicken Ruby and Mutton pepper fry curries alongside with chicken berry britannia biryani and a selection of steamed basmati rice, garlic and cheese naan and roomali roti, this was super soft light weight. Didnt feel guilty at all eating it. All breads complimented all the dishes. Every dish was delightful to eat. The food we ordered was more than enough to feed 10 we were only 6. To end our meal we each had the famous mouthwatering dishoom chocolate pudding with a glass of Chai to top off our sweet tooths. I wish I had taken more photos to share the love of food from dishoom. Chicken and lamb cooked very succulent Can we please upload videos for reviews in the future google? Definitely I recommend this restaurant for families and friends to dine at, cute date spot too. I will be back, Thank you for having us.

Visited here not too long ago with some friends from abraod. As there were 5 of us we got seated on the big round table by the window. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed with smiles, the staff were very friendly. Once seated we ordered our drinks. I ordered a Mango Lassi 9/10 which was lovely. We ordered the briyani, chicken curry, lamb curry, black daal, plain naan, garlic naan, cheese naan, plain rice, and the corn. For dessert we ordered the chocolate pudding, gulab jaman and mango kufi. It is safe to say that everyone was licking their fingers at the end. The food was lovely, one of the best indian food I have had for a long time. My friends and I even went and visited Dishoom in Shoreditch two days later because they enjoyed it so much. I would rate the food and the service 9/10. The prices are quite reasonable as well.

Best Pau Bhaji I've ever had. Went back 3 times in a 2 week period. Ruby chicken was amazing! So good I even bought the recipe book and masala dabba spice kit to try at home.

Good and busy place whenever you are in London and craving some decent Indian food.I wouldn't say it was the best meal ever however it wasn't bad at all. Food was tasty although portion size a bit on the small side for what you pay.I had high expectations because the ordeal that it seems to get a table booked and maybe I felt a bit down, hence only 3 starts.Maybe it was too big and too busy? Sooo many people moving around it was a bit too much. The service was good but not what I would expect for a 12% service charge. We order one extra lemonade that came after 15min,so we had already finished everything we had ordered and they brought 2 instead of just one.Price, well, its central London... £40 x person without dessert. We ended quite full but feeling that we paid a bit too much for what we got. Will I get back? Perhaps I will but only with some friends if they really crave some Indian food in Central London.I also think this is one of those places that if you come as a big group you can enjoy many small dished.

Great service and good breakfast options with good size portions and reasonable in price. Place was full so you will always have to wait a little. Would have just liked to have seen some actual tradition indian breakfast items as well.

Visited last week and it was great. It was partner’s birthday and we had the seasonal trifle for dessert amongst other lovely things. Best restaurant trifle ever!! All the food was excellent customer service was superlative as always. This is my favourite Dishoom as it’s not too cavernous. Recommended.

Delicious Indian food with optimum spices. We ordered pav bhaji, chole puri, okra and everything was outstanding. The on house chai is authentic Indian chai which you do not get everywhere.Though it is crowded everytime and you will have to wait to get table. So, plan accordingly.

Beautiful place and great Indian food. It gets extremely busy so it is recommended to make a reservation early or even a day ahead in the weekends. We went there for lunch around 4:30 and unfortunately they ran out of biryani at that time. However, the service was excellent and so was the food. The samosas were not to my taste honestly but the okra fries were amazing. Last note, the portions are to the smaller side but with reasonable price.
