The food is very good but the service is just terrible. The stuff are unpleasant, they can stand over your head and interrupt for no reason when you're having a meal. They brought us a bill without asking as soon as we finished the mains. There were many free tables in the restaurant and no customers waiting.

Hi. I have eaten here numerous times, albeit mainly later in the evening when it is not so crowded. Staff very nice. I find the food to be solidly good and consistent. I like the fact that this place is a "hole in the wall" rather than overly fancy (isn't that what all good Indian restaurants should be like). I find its price point for central London (W1/Mayfair) to be reasonable: I can eat and drink myself to the point of being stuffed for 35 pounds. To readers coming from the outerboroughs or US suburbia : Don't forget, London is one of the most expensive cities in the world -- Don't visit if you can't afford it! Overall, this is a good spot. Nothing fancy but it does the trick!

The food was superb. The service was kind and helpful. The restaurant is ½ block from the Piccadilly Theatre (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time). They are open until 11pm. We had an excellent meal after the play. I would go back. It was not expensive. We just ordered a lot!

The food was acceptable however was excepting a bit more flavorful. Where they lacked here was definitely made up by their very unique service. I have never been to an Indian restaurant that upon leaving they open the door. When you’re done with your dinner they remove the first table cloth providing a clean table top. The wait staff was on top of everything. So even though the food was fine the service experience was excellent.

The food is NOT INDIAN in any way. Bland, cheap and do not even get me started on the ridiculously small portions of the starter. Horrible. Just horrible. We all hated it and regretted going there, but we were all craving some spicy indian food and were too hungry to doubt the restaurant since it was packed, we assumed it must be because the food is good. It was so underwhelming and disappointing specially for the ridiculously high prices!!The staff were nice and quick. But the food and chef need to be changed because it was just awful.

Disappointing. The food was pretty average and over-priced. Our party are all food lovers and I can honestly say our local take-away has better food. The staff were nice although when I produced my 2-4-1 voucher the manager looked at it for a long time before smiling and saying 'we don't take this'. I firmly told him 'Yes you do' he laughed and said 'ok, yes we do' it took him AGES to prepare the bill which resulted in much confusion back at the table. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying for a decent meal but this was NOT the best Indian food. The average price for a main meal was around £15.00 and my starter (mixed grill) a small piece of lamb, chicken, kofta & mini onion bhaji was about £9.00. Bread was about £5.00 and a side was around £9.00. The best thing was the starter. The keema nan had the TINIEST bit of meat in it and had absolutely no flavour. One of the main meals was served luke warm and had to be sent back.I would not recommend a visit here and will definitely not visit again. Up to this point we had had the perfect day. we used our 'meerkat deals' to find this place so make sure you check the menu before visiting. We won't make that mistake again!

Very good service. My Lamb Rogan Josh was very nice (even though it wasn't on the menu). My wifes chicken 'KURMA' had no coconut taste at all. Her rice was overpowered with cardomon. Price was what you'd expect in Picadilly.

The indian restaurant, tempted by range of authentic & imaginative fusion dishes. They are specialist in tandoori dishes. The food cooked is with the good quality & aroma of fresh ingredients. Really ignites the taste buds. The portions are small but tasty.
