Chisou - Mayfair in City of London

Great variety of dishes. The spinach was simple yet tasty. The maki rolls were nicely done. House sake was lovely 🍶 you have to make reservation.

Incredible food & fantastic service! Absolutely love this place. The teriyaki beef (with kimchi rice) was a revelation - 10/10. We also had nigiri sushi selection, grilled aubergine & chicken meatballs. They gave us several sake tasters and the wine was delicious. Will be back 👌🏼Oka Ginjo my favourite sake - dry with a nice flavour of citrus fruit

Warm and happy.We came here for my partner’s bday and the staff was so warm and welcoming. They gave us a beautiful private table and they cuddle us for tall dinner. The atmosphere was great, topical of a Japanese tavern, and the place was quite busy to be a Tuesday evThe food is excellent. The combinations of flavours and the simplicity of the ingredients make each dish special. We loved every bite!They have a good choice of wines and an even better choice of sake. We went for what our waiter suggested, as we are not experts, and it was perfect to close the dinner and have it with the dessert.On a very lovely note, without me even asking, they brought us the dessert with candles a decoration!A great experience, great staff and excellent food. We’ll come back for sure!

Disappointing. Look at their response below.We came to celebrate a friends birthday here after we heard great things about Chisou. Unfortunately the food and service was subpar.They forgot to put in our order and didn’t realize for 25 mins. We ended up getting 3 rolls, spinach salad, age dofu, and tokatsu.The 3 rolls were poorly made and did not satisfy any of us and the tonkatsu was overdone and tough.The spinach salad was really good with shrimp garnished on top!The most disappointing part of the night is the waitress forgetting that we were there for a birthday occasion. We saw other tables having this celebrated and were skipped on.This could possible be a bad day for the restaurant but we would seriously recommend that others stay away and dine at another sushi restaurant.

Food was overall to die for!! Great selection of sashimi, very fresh and delicious.Service is excellent, hospitable, attentive and graceful.Would highly recommend this place and I cannot wait to come back!

A very cozy and warm restaurant.We celebrated our daughter's birthday there and it was a lovely experience.The staff is very friendly and from the right place you can see chefs at work slicing the fish and rolling your sushi 🍣.My sushi set was wonderful - the best sushi I've ever tasted.Two things to be aware of:1) it would take some time for your order to be served2) the prices are fairly highIf you are okay with the above and like Japanese cuisine - you will like it there.Enjoy :)

Went here for dinner with a friend and the food was amazing! That salad was amazing so fresh and light - would highly recommend. I see why it is rated as one of London’s top sushi restaurants / totally worth the hype.

Godly.The sushi was so good, it was very easy to order even moreIt’s definitely high end but me and my friend had an absolute blast.The sushi chef was very charismatic and had us order even more of his specialities.I will definitely return.Fatty tuna is the best.

The foods are awesome!!! We ordered 2 person sashimi choice of the chef. Every pieces of sashimi are high quality. Been long time didn't had such rich and thick unagi. With the quality they presented, the price is reasonable! Highly recommend and definitely will visit again.

Sashimi was fresh with good selection. I like the sushi and uni too. I didn't order anything else😅 staff is friendly and attentive. environment and atmosphere is slightly fusion.. I will come back again=)
