Chucs Bar & Grill in City of London

Have been here twice for breakfast. Service is efficient but unfriendly. Manager is always at the bar on his laptop. Deliveries and drivers come in and out .. not ideal if you’re having a meeting. Asked for an omelette with 3 side dishes… instead all the sides came inside the omelette! And was charged as sides. It’s a shame as it’s a cute spot

Would not recommend, food is not worth the price and very average. I was offered bacon on my burger but that didn't come... staff weren't very attentive either and rather selective in who they treat nicely. Recommend going elsewhere for the price!!

I visited Chucs Mayfair last week with my dearest friend and her partner who kept recommending the restaurant. I can now fully agree with them. The place is quite small but very cosy, clean, and well organised. The service is beyond excellent. Angelo (one of the managers if I remember correctly), in particular, has made our evening extremely pleasant and his food knowledge reflected our taste. I’m so glad I went by his suggestions, especially on the wine. I will visit again, and soon. I often work in Jermyn Street and I wish I knew this place before. Never too late!

I enjoyed a lovely breakfast at Chucs on Saturday morning. It’s a really sweet place, and I’ll definitely return. The staff were very friendly, and the food and coffee was great. Highly recommended.

Brilliant place for brunch, lunch and dinner in an area where can be difficult to find a well priced restaurant.The service is friendly and professional.The place is small so book not to get disappointed.I had a great soya hot chocolate and poached eggs in an avocado toast. The portion was a little too small but taste great. They added a flower as garnish or decoration, it did not needed.Great vegetarian options.

The staff was nice but they were pushing sales a bit too much for my liking. The language they were using during taking the order felt like they were asking for your preference but what was really happening is they were adding things to your order without you realising it. The menu was deceptive in the same sense and I felt tricked and overcharged. There is a section on the menu where it says 'Gin and tonics' even though the prices shown only covered the gin and the tonic was charged extra. Incredibly overpriced for what it is and I would rather go have dinner somewhere else.

What a great place! Cannot more highly recommend their bottomless brunch, we were treated like kings & queens of London! Superb service and arrangements with management. What a way to start the day!!

The danger of this place is everything tastes so good you can't stop ordering. By which point you've spent a fortune! Staff and service were all perfect. Decent covered outside tables. Blankets. Excellent food, special mention for the arancini and beef carpaccio. Good wine selection available in glass, carafe, bottle. Excellent treat night option!
