Absolute blinder of a pub in the City. No fuss just great beer esp. if you're partial to Shepherd Neame. It is small so can seem crowded

Great atmosphere! Love the chilled rock music in the background, has a great nostalgia feel to it.

Popular and packed. OK if not raining as customers can occupy the street !

Fairly small pub on a relatively quiet road, so attracts outdoor drinkers. Bigger than it looks once inside - wood panelling and many mirrors help the illusion.Shepherd’s Neame and guest beers, plus traditional pub grub. Staff are friendly and efficient.As others have said, it’s looking a little ‘tired’ currently so probably warrants 3.5 stars - so my rating is a little on the downside.

Great place. Tucked away. Friendly staff and good ale. Occasionally shows sport on the tv. Good range of other beverages.

Small, cosy and lively pub with a great atmosphere. Being down a quiet side-road, many customers spill out onto the street outside which is very popular but respectable. Good choice of drinks too.

Great City pub! Staff are wonderful and caring, and there's always enough of them to serve quickly, probably the quickest place to get a drink most of the time and especially on a Thursday and Friday. Plenty of different ales and beers to enjoy too.

It was a very cosy pub with a great variety of beers, hidden in a narrow street. Staff was super friendly and were aware of the origin of the beers and the pub history. It was not super crowded and people were staying there for half or one hour just for some pints. The music was mainly jazz and created a warm atmosphere and a friendly relaxing environment. I would definitely recommend it!
