Comptoir Libanais in City of London

Guys I don’t usually write reviews! But this place was terrible! Firstly the place kept sending out the wrong food to our table. There was only 1 female waitress & she really knows how to ruin an experience. She would look you up and down like she’s something special & we were dirt on her shoe. On multiple occasions she brought out the wrong food & when we kindly explained it’s not our food. She had an attitude like we inconvenienced her kissing her teeth and rolling her eyes making us uncomfortable. We moved tables because pretty much all the tables had a wonky leg making it impossible to eat in peace.Secondly, I got a honey chicken with potatoes which was vile! Tasted like pure garlic! My friends had different food Inc grilled meat, lamb wrap & we all hated it. Considering how many reviews this place had, it is not worth it! Unless you love cloves of garlic!!! Never coming back here again. Rubbish service

Painfully slow service. 25 minutes wait for a glass of wine, while the place was empty. Three requests for tap water which never arrived. Two stars are only for the food which was nice to graze on.

Booked a reservation for my partners birthday. Arrived and was told they were closed and when I explained I had a reservation the waiter looked confused, then I saw the women behind the bar shake her head at him as if to say no and when she saw I saw she changed her expression and smiled. No explainatjon as to why after making a reservation they told us it was closed. Then they said we could stay if we only stayed for an hour. So we said great then sat down. They came over a minute later rushing us and then said they didn’t have any of the main Shish. Just wraps: very weird negative atmosphere and we’d travelled their specifically so we spend half an hour trying to find another Lebanese restaurant which we had to travel to a bus journey away. Was so disappointing.

Big thank you to damian for the amazing drinks at lunch came with my friend and had an amazing experience, all the staff was friendly and helpful amazing service definitely will be back,best mojitos . Would definitely be coming back more often.

Lower than average of food quality but customer service was not great. Unfortunately our dessert was not available due to Brexit and border issue

Group booking, nice atmosphere, a little wait for menu. Recommend the shared Mezze platter as you get to taste a bit of each. I had grilled lamb kofta dish, delicious and filliing. We asked to buy flat bread as it was so moorish and we're given some for free to take away. Definitely come back again.

Delicious!!! Had the Falafel and Aubergine wrap and some fries. Had to take half of it home because it was so filling

Unfortunately level of service and quality of food has gone down, since my last visit !
