Waited two hours for order via Deliveroo, rang up to be told it was on its way. Immediately after getting off the phone order was marked as delivered (definitely wasn’t) and never turned up… looking at other reviews, this seems to be a common problem, whichever way you order. I would avoid…

Placed our order at 6.40pm, still no sign of food at 8. Phoned at 8.30pm to be told it was on the way. Waited until 9.30pm to phone again but was told they’ve dropped the food off (which was a lie) to “ a man” even though our order was under the name “Abbie” which, if this is true, should’ve been verified at the delivery point. Phoned again at 10.15pm to find out that the delivery guy had gone home. Absolutely disgusting service. Passed us around several phone numbers and were told several different stories. Have asked for a refund but will have to wait and see if they do refund us or not !Extremely disappointed!

A very unsatisfactory service once again, and this is the third time in a row, phoned my order in just after 5.30pm and asked how long it would take and was told half hour. Got to restaurant just after 6 and my husband sat in restaurant for a further half hour. Thought it would be quicker going to collect meal as on previous occasions have waited over 2 hours for delivery. MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO THE CONNOISSEUR R.I.P. WILL NEVER PLACE AN ORDER WITH YOU AGAIN

First time ordering from here. We had the value meal for 2 people. At only ÂŁ19.95 it was plenty for the two of us. Food arrived hot and was very tasty. Definitely worth ordering.

This is the worst restaurant I have ever known. Placed an order at 6:30 through deliveroo.......at 8:45 still not show. Don’t answer the phone. Absolutely shocking I will advise everyone I know never to use this restaurant.Deliveroo however were fantastic about with a full refund. This restaurant is an absolute disgrace.

Very impressed with this gem.Just how I like an Indian restaurant to be. Calm atmosphere, comfortable seating. The decor is almost colonial with deep colours. A place you feel instantly comfortable in. No thumping music, very friendly & attentive waiter. Glorious food of more than ample portions. A delightful evening. They take Tastecard here too.

A restaurant waiting to close down.Food was ok to nice, and prices good, but freezing cold in room, and no service skills, again not bad , but no flair.Wines poor.Just wanted to eat and leave. Shame because they seemed nice enough. We were the only seated customers. The Nepalese Chef next door was bright, busy, looked attractive, full of customers. The Connoisseur used to be so much better but was like a sad old ghost.Needs some sparkle and character, maybe the usual front of house was away on seasonal holiday.I hope they turn it around, it has a potential charm, but zero polish based on this nights experience. With respect, thank you for the food, but it's not a restaurant

I finished my meal in high spirits. Tahmid, the main man (waiter), was delightful - he exemplifies perfection. When i say perfection i mean it.He treated my 5 family members to a tour of his curry house where i was personally presented with a key to his house. We had a good night thereafter.

Ordered a delivery. I was told it would be there in an hour. It was. I had Chicken Tikka Malayan, pilau rice and Chicken Pakora. The Malayan was lovely. Great sauce, tender chicken. Not at all greasy. Rice was fluffy and fresh. Pakoras were crisp and full of flavour. Complimentary mint sauce and salad. Good customer service too. Well done. Recommended. I'll use them again.

Ordered on Just Eat, food was meant to be here almost an hour ago and I'm still waiting, I've called the restaurant to be told that the driver had another delivery on the other side of Gloucester, no apology offered. Won't be ordering from here again!
