Covent Garden Cocktail Club in City of London

Charged us £10 extra each as ‘non-members’ but did not mention this at any point when we arrived. Also they do not let you know this before you book but send this as information in the confirmation email afterwards. Would have been better if we just left and payed the fee for not turning up to the booking.Staff were highly inconsiderate and not helpful with this issue at all.

Fantastic place, bar staff brilliant, chatty and entertaining. Cocktails were amazing and great price two for £12!!!!! Atmosphere was really good, great stop off before the theatre, thoroughly recommended.

Super friendly staff, great atmosphere and awesome covers. The drinks are on par with London but more (a bit) to the expensive side (I think?). Great place to book for a birthda

Had a reservation for the basement bar to have drinks with a friend. When we arrived they clearly had over reserved the space and had us seated on rickety seats on the bar where quite literally every single server and patron had to bump into us to move anywhere. One of the staff offered to take us upstairs instead. We were there during happy hour where the drinks were 2-4-1 and were pretty decent. Unfortunately, they randomly gave us the bill and said we had to leave, then the man at the door came up to us and said he would “do us a favour” and let us stay if we paid £10. When we said no, he said, “okay….bye then”. Very inappropriate.

Really great venue with cool decor and atmosphere. Was expecting more of a relaxed, "gentleman's club" jazz vibe on a Sunday night but was surprised to have loud old school hip-hop music blarring away with full on grinding guests enjoying themselves. Wasn't bad, just surprising, especially for a small intimate venue. Loved the selection of drinks and the bar staff were fun. Worth checking out for after dinner drinks.

Was having a great time until we got told to vacate our table after they allowed us to order a round of drinks. Completely understood the table was booked for another group saw that half the bar was empty so asked if we could be seated somewhere else to finish our drinks they refused without explanation. We had spent almost £400 with them as we were out for our Xmas party, asked to speak to the manager who again refused to help but thought it would be a great idea to chuck cash at us as a way of a refund! So unprofessional would never visit again.

Really nice cozy basement bar. Instant good vibe on entry, staff are laid back but attentive. A nice place to drop in amongst the madness of central London.

Had a great afternoon here with during cocktail week. Drinks were delicious and the place was quiet yet vibey enough.

Excellent traditional cocktail bar.Down the stairs to the basement bar and the cool decor and great music get you in the mood for a good time straight away.Happy hour gives you buy one get one free and you’re away.The staff are superb - friendly, happy, attentive and know how to mix a meal brew. Each cocktail is served with its own little style and all the ones we had tasted great.Really cool little gem tucked away in Covent Garden.
