Crocker's Folly in City of London

Had an amazing meal. Difficult to decide what to have, so many tempting things. Food was excellent and service was equally good. The decor is quite incredible. Would definitely recommend a visit.

I went here for a drink with a mate, and as a pub it's a bit average, but really I think that side of things is more of a bar (if you appreciate the difference), in which case I could imagine taking someone special here. It is definitely a restaurant however. The reason I have given it five stars is not because I had s wonderful meal - I didn't eat there - but because the owner (I assume) was super welcoming and kindly gave us a couple of free desserts. I forget what the dish was called, but it was fantastic - very similar to kunayif (or kunafa or something similar, shredded pastry sweetened cheese, cream, nuts etc). Anyway, nice place.

Walked into a gem without even knowing it. Past this place a few times and thinking this is another English pub. But actually it is a authentic Lenbonese restaurant. Food is excellent and the interior is very nicely decorated. Friendly staff to top it up!

We had our engagement party here, was the best night of our lives. Could not recommend this place anymore. Perfect, Shadi and his team went above and beyond.

A really odd experience. We went for a birthday - 13 of us and the decor was beautiful, it's a great space.However, between being given 'old menus' that had wildly different prices to what we were actually asked to pay (£8.50 on the menu, tried to charge £13, for example) and being offered a set menu that changed from minute to minute (£30 per head for a set menu with wine, changing to £40 a head for some extra food but no wine, to £50 a head for less food with the wine again...), this was a much more stressful experience than it needed to be.In fairness to the staff, they did offer some complimentary items but again, they were just put on the table in a very random manner and we weren't ever sure what or wasn't going to be charged.In a nutshell, the constant haggling and negotiation with the staff was incredibly distracting so if you're looking for a relaxed environment, I wouldn't recommend it.

An architecturally impressive place, but quite cold inside. The food is nice, so is the stuff.

More of a restaurant than a pub, but the interior suggests it was certainly one of the finest pubs in the area back in the day. Stunning. A Lebanese restaurant now that serves great food and surprisingly, good beer - Beirut Beer, really refreshing.

A bit hidden but overall great. A part of the Maroush group, great middle eastern food. Place got a great Victorian design inside. A lot of great options on the menu, good service, only comment I got is that it's a bit pricey compared to nearby places, but still worth a visit for the inside decor and great food - the Kibeh is a must, great ratio between the filling and the cover, so good

Nice restaurant in St. John's Wood. Good service, food was cooked well and served promptly.Maybe Covid related but the place lacked an atmosphere. I could see it is a large place and when full to capacity, it must be a wonderful place but nevertheless it was an enjoyable experience.
