Firstly to be 100% clear to any readers this is definitely not a cheap place. I see other reviewers commenting about the prices.....but what do you expect in a fashionable organic shop/restaurant in the centre of Chelsea? My wife loves coming here to eat or sending me on my bike from East London to buy produce. I love riding my bike around London, so no problems with that. Back to Daylesford, they state they have a cafe upstairs but could just as well be a restaurant. We had a very late (3pm) three course lunch here today and to be honest it was as good as it gets. This place in terms of quality of food, staff service and ambience can stand proud with leading London restaurants. I am dropping a star more in terms of areas of improvement/suggestions. On the drinks menu it would be good to mention the quantity served in wine glasses and also the measure of spirits in cocktails. This even may be a legal requirement. Also, on the paper napkins there is a sign saying please recycle. I do not believe that it is possible to recycle unused let alone used paper napkins as the fibres are too short. Happy to be proved wrong on this though. In summary really enjoyed lunch here today!

I ordered a mocha what I received was worst than an instant coffee that you would receive in A+E in hospital ☕️ 🏥 .If you’re going to order the burger make sure you go on a junk food detox so you are able to taste whatever little flavour the chef wants you to taste. The service was horrendous; the waitress was extremely rigid, more so than Anthony Joshua in a boxing ring, and refused to ask the manager if the meat was halal/kosher and sharply retorted that the food “comes from a farm” 🤷🏽‍♂️ as if to say holy meat doesn’t also come from a farm.We were also unable to customise our order at all, and informed in a very condescending way where the salads on the menu could be found, not even acknowledging our request for a necessary substitute for dietTo add insult to injury we were slapped with a 12.5% service charge despite the clear absence of service 👀

Went to get food to take away. I paid £13 for a coronation chicken wrap which was incredibly bland - it tasted more of lettuce than anything else as the chicken had no flavour and there was hardly any filling, and a small box of a roast veg salad which actually consisted of a few lumps of squash and some red onion, which had been roasted in so much chilli that they only tasted of that.Writing a review because given the price and that it is Daylesford, a brand I really love, I was totally shocked and really let down by the terrible quality of the food. The service was also lacklustre - really standoffish, incompetent, unfriendly staff. Not worth visiting unfortunately.

Popped in to get some charcuterie, cheeses and bread for Xmas. We were very excited to be there until the poor, rude and unhelpful service of the people working there ruined it for us.I asked the butcher guy if he could help with cheeses and he replied with a rude “NO” and after said “they can help you over there”. He meant his colleagues at the till which is on the other side of the store. So I thought he was gonna call someone to come serve us but he didn’t. He saw us waiting there expecting us to go chase down ppl to serve us, until we just walked away and didn’t get any cheese. Then the till guy was so busy chatting about his own affairs with his two colleagues in a different language that he barely acknowledged us and was putting random stuff in our bag like a roll of reduction stickers cos he was so distracted. So very disappointing. And not the first time either. For the premium price Daylesford charges, this type of service is unacceptable and unjustifiable and just not on brand. Thats the service I expect when I walk into sainsburys and Tesco, not Daylesford.Maybe the Pimlico road store needs a different management, a team that is more friendly to customers who are paying a very high premium.

Loved the lunch I had here. The food, the waiter and his service, the atmosphere. Wonderful. Will definitely go back when next I'm in London.

Very nice shop cool and expensive food! I love that place!!

The food was good, I would say that the chicken was on the verge of being a little dry but it was tasty. I do really like that the food is organic etc. and I'm more than happy to pay a bit extra for that. The problem was the service, which was not good. Our waiter smelled very strongly of sweat which made me very uncomfortable. And he wasn't very attentive and messed up our order in a lot of ways while we ordered.

Was looking for a specific wine. Online it was 36 pounds and I found it in this shop which stocks it for 25 which was great. Had a look at other items and seemed to be pricey but most of which is organic food and nice service by attentative staff. In fact some customers that I observed in here were unreasonable and stuck up and the staff at the shop handled them so professionally. Well done!

Quite a formidable selection of organic groceries can be found here. You can also find coffee beans, teas, bakery items and drinks like Latte and Hot Chocolate!

I visited today and though the ground level was really nice and colourful the upstairs cafe was so bland and boring. My wife and I only had tea and a shared muffin so I can’t comment on the other food choices but they did look nice.We asked for a pot of tea for two but were given two separate pots. It was £9.50 for what we had, (includes one small muffin) which is expensive. When I went to pay there was the option of a ‘optional service charge’ to which I declined, this didn’t stop our server from asking that the £10 I gave was not enough. I explained that I didn’t want to pay the additional charge as it was optional.I’ve been to other organic places before and I felt this place could have made the cafe part so much more inviting. As I said at the start it’s all bland, there’s some small plants on the tables but there isn’t any green inside growing in big pots only outside which is such a shame.
