Went to have an afternoon tea and had a fabulous experience. The staff was brilliant, we got a seat next to the fireplace with a really cosy feel. The sandwiches and scones were lovely and the bakery was to die for. Definitely value for money. The ambiance in the area is really lively, well I mean it’s in the middle of Soho so what else could you expect. Definitely would repeat.

4 of us for a birthday lunch for my partner. Ambience, decor, service & food were all exceptional. We had Sunday roasts, beef, pork and the mushroom Wellington, came with all the sides, including cauliflower cheese (a big favourite) faultless.Must recommend the cheese course, often you need a magnifier to find the cheese, this was not the case here !Service for drinks & food was quick, but certainly not rushed. Our first visit and will definitely be returning.I often recommend places, but this one comes with much more than that. It's busy, quite noisy with chatter, but cosy & relaxing at the same time.Highly, highly recommend you give this place a go.

Small menu but delicious dishes and friendly staff. We were a party of six and had pork cheek, sole, cod and monkfish curry. Scallops and beef tartare as a starters. Portions will not let you down and quality of the dishes will make you come back again and again. We are booking our next visit very soon.

This was once one of my favourite places in Soho many years ago, unfortunately after our visit yesterday it is unlikely to ever become a favourite again. The booking via Opentable did not specify that the table would only been available for 2 hours, if I had known this I would have booked elsewhere. We were not told on arrival that the table was only for 2 hours, as a result we felt no need to order food immediately and started with a cocktails followed by some wine. At least every 7-10 mins we were constantly interrupted by a very unfriendly and unwelcoming waitress that kept asking us if we were ready to order food, I must have on at least 5 occasions told her that we would be ordering food later and that I would let her know when we were ready. She returned about 45 mins into the booking to announce that we needed to order food or else we would run the risk of losing the table as it was needed back because our booking was for 2 hours. I confirmed to her the booking details and that nowhere did it say the table was for 2 hours. I also informed her that we would not be ordering food as we had no realised the table was for 2 hours. She continued to interrupt us and kept asking if we were ready to order food and kept reminding us how much time we had left on the table even though I made it clear we would NOT be ordering food. It was really unpleasant and mildly threatening and completely ruined the rhythm and flow of the evening for my friend & me. We were given the 15 min warning to clear the table and our unfinished white wine bottle was placed on the table where we were told to drink up before the waitress walked off. I don´t think anyone expects that service from a established hotel brand where cocktails cost £14. We would have happily moved to the bar to free up the table as there were seats available at the bar, but this was not suggested or recommended. We were basically ushered out and it felt like they could not wait for us to leave. A truly terrible experience and one that I hope nobody else ever experiences. If you want a table for longer than 2 hours and expect a service that is friendly, professional, and does not ruin your evening then DO NOT BOOK HERE.

It was good, brasserie food, which you'd expect. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't awful but I wasn't blown away. Felt as though the team must have been short staffed as we seemed a little forgotten about and kept having to ask to be served. Gorgeous cocktails at the bar and fab location and decor as ever. Will definitely go back to try again so will review again then.

My partner and I enjoyed our evening in this chic and well maintained palace. The buzzing atmosphere from staff and other customers really makes it an outstanding place to take a break from the Hustle and bustle of Soho. The Sunday lunch is outstandingly tasty and the portion sizing is simply sublime. A lovely selection of cocktails to wash the meal down with and also for a reasonable price! Thank you again and see you soon. The fire in the more cosy area of the restaurant makes it feel like home with plush comfortable armchairs to give your legs a break after a busy day of walking and shopping.

We were recommended this place by a friend and we are so glad they did. We did not have a reservation and they seated us immediately because there were tables available (only two of us), we arrived about 18.00 and ended up staying until approximately 22.30 because the ambience of the restaurant is really nice. Staff were so friendly and helpful, we only ate mains but the steak was probably the best we've had in a very long time, it was cooked to perfection as was everything else. Drinks were great, we drank the house wine which we would recommend and had a few cocktails. We will absolutely return and regularly too!

Nice business Christmas lunch for 4 of us. Everyone was happy with their food but I thought just two scallops as a starter was a little mean. Excellent cocktails. The booth at the rear near the swinging staff door is not the best seat in the house.

Not my first visit and doubt it would be my last. Last few times I’ve come for breakfast, brunch and dinner. Food is worth it and I love the decor of the place. We came for cocktails on this occasion and worth the visit though maybe sit away from the door next time with the cold breeze…
