Dj's Caribbean Takeaway in City of London

Just enjoying my curry mutton with rice and peas, everything is well cooked and tastes delicious. I would definitely recommend this takeaway for authentic Caribbean food.

Never have I seen JAMAICAN oxtail and ricenpeas served in this way. Absolutely disgusting. New in the area wanted to give them a chance, never again not to mention Not very welcoming! That’s the meat portion additionally I didn’t know what those small balls were as JAMAICAN use spinner dumplings! I’m embarrassed! £8.50 in the bin literally

My gran used to take me here >30 years ago and is a staple of our community. The portions are big and flavoursome, cooked with love transcended through Mr and Mrs Davidson and blessed by the Gods. The red pea soup has fed generations of Caribbean workers building up London’s city and roads and is what we call soul food. The punches literally knock you out with flavour and the customer service is beautifully Jamaican and all that that entails. You can’t please everyone but everyone who matters loves you guys!! Keep up the good work

Absolutely delicious, easy to see why this place is a community favourite. The jerk chicken was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Make sure you give it a try!

Nice food. Need to use less oil in ackee and salt fish. Really tasty fried dumplings

Extremely disappointing. Fish soup was raw and not hot. Jerk chicken was not jerk seasoned but peppered. Full order was not given.

DJs never cease to amaze me with their consistency of delicious Caribbean Cuisine and talented service. I made sure I told the chap in the hat and the beard just how happy I was with my last selection succulent tender drop off the bone oxtail with steam veg and superb hard food! Thank you DJs for what you do and see you again soon.

This place needs no introduction. I'd say I'm I'm harsh critic but I'd genuinely give this place 5 starts just for the hospitality. 10 out of 10. funny and always bound to leave a smile on your face. And they make amazing food. What's not to love. Even if you're not hungry I'd still recommend this place any day of the week.

Staff excellent, food is OK but have had alot better. Bought a pineapple punch today and it just taste like condensed milk. No flavour and definitely no pineapple

I’m extremely disappointed in this local take away they give you out of date a food that was cooked from three days ago absolutely disgusting I have tried and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but now they need to be reported and I have reported them to the health department because their food and their chicken is three days old nothing is fresh besides the coleslaw even the dumplings or refried and the plantain is refried absolutely disgusting and you need to be shut down
