Don Pepe in City of London

Fantastic tapas, friendly service and great value. I cant recommend this lovely restaurant enough. My daughter even got a free Spanish lesson from the staff.

I live in the neighbourhood and always wanted to try this spanish tapas place. Now that Don Pepe opened back after the pandemic I gave it a try. Don Pepe's tapas were great, reasonably priced, and Don Pepe is also a great guy who attends by himself. Very lovely place. Will be back!

Food it's not bad, considering it is a Spanish restaurant outside Spain. I wouldn't recommend the Spanish omelette, it tastes like the ones that you can buy in the supermarket. The croquetas weren't too bad, though they had too much pepper. The chorizos were cut too slim. The meat was good. The waiter was very friendly, though slow and more worried about talking to who I guess it was her wife instead of attending customers.

Nice find in Maida Vale/St Johns' Wood/Edgeware. This is very cozy restaurant with a very old school look. Enjoyed the tapas quite a bit, especially the seafood choices! Nothing elaborate on the wine list but good enough I'd say. Was also very child friendly.
