Delicious and family friendly roast. The food is prepared on site as opposed to bringing in; is well seasoned and tasty. Nice atmosphere, families welcome

I have never felt so unwelcome in a pub. Literally every table was set up for food, and there were only 2 stools at the bar which were already taken. No one attempted to seat us, we were left to stand, perched at the bar feeling so out of place. It was only after the bar tender heard me say how i felt so out of place standing that he called a booking (who were a no show) before we were offered a seat. By this point we had almost finished our drinks and had resigned ourselves to leaving. Wont be returning either.

This pub is quite a gem. I've been passing it by for a while and was lucky to get a table without reservation on a Sunday evening. The menu is fairly small, but the food that we had was absolutely delicious. Sunday roast as well as the fish option were nicely complemented with fresh roasted sides and reasonably priced drinks. Overall a great place with delicious food, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Would certainly visit again!

The worst service: having ordered a burger 1h prior with much difficulties as the waiter couldn’t be bothered to look at our table, we were just told that our ordered put in the system 10mn ago was too late as they didn’t have any burgers left. We suggested to have the steak instead at the price of the burger, but deprived of any commercial sense, the manager declined and we left. We will never come back again.

This is the place to go for a Sunday roast. The food and service were spectacular. The wine and cocktails paired perfectly with the cozy ambiance. We were in London for a week and this was our favorite meal during the trip, we can't wait to go back!

A lovely pub with great decor. We had a lovely pint of Purity bitter here on Saturday. We went there at lunchtime and everybody else was there for the food. The food did look good but we weren't hungry at the time

I went this evening. it says they serve modern european food. they had some space so we sat but after we ordered few drinks they said that the kitchen closed earlier tonight and they couldn't serve any food. I think they should have told us before we all sat. it was just 20h15. the menu seems nice so we decided to come another time and asked at what time the kitchen usually close, but the lady said " depends on people". The Pub was full. So I really don't understand what she means. Obviously they seems to serve food when they want or to the people they like...? very strange vibe within the team. I will not go back.

Great service and food in a lovely neighbourhood pub. All four of us enjoyed our food, which is no easy task. Able to taste a few wines before selecting the bottle, which went down so well we ordered a second. Also recommend the sister pub in Southwark. Hope to be back soon at either venue!

I booked an outside table for somewhere to have a drink and a meal after the cricket. The staff were very attentive and helpful, the beer was good and the food excellent. The only downside was the noise from a group of cricket supporters, there just to drink, but little the pub could do about this.

One of the best reasonably priced pub food, what a hidden gem. The food was amazing, drinks good and the staff were lovely. Definitely will be coming back!
