Found the menu rather limitedthe pilau rice tasted like par boiled rice & was served in small bowls which was not up to standard, the Madras lamb curry had a lot of curry leaves which was not favourable as I expected to have bay leaves instead & was hardly worth the price, hence I won't be recommending it

Brilliant people , brilliant delicious food ! 6 stars ! In fact 99 stars I’m deducting 1 star on the basis it’s far from home ! And FYI you can drink in here too ! but It’s BYOB ;)… Can not fault this place

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Everything is delicious, especially chicken dishes, the breads, the pilau rice, and the okra. I love the saag paneer because it’s not sweet like I’ve at had at other places in London. It’s BYOB which is kind of fun. The service is great and the people are so nice and friendly.

Th is place was a lucky find. A lovely family who are second generation honouring their fathers recipes that he established in1956 when he opened. The lamb shank and the scallops my opinion are a must have. Great service and lovely people 👍

we got the chicken tikka, chilli paneer, butter chicken, garlic naan, paratha, cheese naan, peshwari naan and hydrabadi lamb biriyani.Generally the portion size wad good, we shared between three people.chicken tikka- good flavour and chicken was tender 8/ 10chilli paneer- again was well flavoured and seasoned. 7/10butter chicken- could have had more flavour in general, the chicken was good tandoori chicken and tender.garlic naan- could have had a bit more garlic, felt like garlic was used minimally for cost saving measures.cheese naan- was okay. need more thought on packaging.paratha- was not flakey, was more of a roti more than paratha and undercooked. very unlikely to get again 1/10peshwari naan- no raisin, coconut over ground no texture.mango lassi- had more yoghurt than Mango...sour due to the higher ratio of yoghurt, the texture was off again probably due to yoghurt. 7/10The starters were good overall but the mains could do with some work. I probably would not order mains from here but order a selection of starters based on the two i had tried.

As a fellow asian with an experienced palate for Indian cuisine , I would undoubtedly recommend to anyone who wants to experience traditional authentic yet inexpensive Indian cuisine at its finest. Also kudos to the friendly staff who were very welcoming and helpful. Overall the experience was amazing and family enjoyed it so i can undoubtedly say this visit has made me feel the need to revisit and try out the mind-boggling dishes that they have crafted and tailored to their consumers needs. For those who need to try out this amazing restaurant i would recommend the following:-flavoursome Tandoori chicken and chicken tikka masala-spicy king prawns and aloo chaat with fragrant biryani-shish kebabs with freshly made naan bread-saag paneer and a whole lot moreanyways stop scrolling and order!!

Delicious food! The saag paneer was one of the best I’ve ever had. Would have given 5 stars but found the waiter a bit impatient with us.

Staff a bit odd, they seemed more interested in my husband than me for some strange reason. I asked for a tea and they brought 2 cups in with my small tea pot for one and charged 2 teas (I saw that coming and thought it was dishonest, like charging 2 puddings because you bring 2 spoons when there's only one pudding. Besides we didn't ask for another cup and I was the only one drinking tea). Food was so-so. Cheese nans are made with mozzarella, which is not great. Overall nothing outstanding in spite of their awards displayed on the walls.

Skip this one please! There was nothing great about this place. I don't know how they won Asian Curry Awards (I laughed hard when I heard it) ! I don't know how to cook but I can make better Channa masala. Their Rotis can be compared to Buffalo skin! They have only 1 beer (cobra).
