What a great find this pub is. Friendly welcome. Older crowd which was nice. Loved the decor. Really clean toilets which is always a nice surprise :) We enjoyed nice toasted sandwiches with delicious chips - generous portions! Definitely will return.

Wonderful old style British boozer. Old merchandising that is proudly displayed takes one back to the 1960’s and 1970’s to give an authentic, nostalgic feel. Good quality pints, and they serve pork scratchings.

Old fashioned pub just off Fleet Street. Old posters on the walls and ceiling festooned with old beer mats. Unashamedly non trendy. On two levels so bigger than it seems.

Great pub. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, couldn't have asked for more. Loved it.

Great, atmospheric pub perfect for downng a few pints of Guardsman bitter or Hotspur ale - a good choice of real ales and lagers in a lovely old pub just off Strand/Fleet Street, a minute from the Law Courts. The bar snacks are well worth trying - I had thick crusty bread with corned beef and cheese which was delicious. Good food selection - very comfortable bar area, I almost felt transported back to Victorian times (one too many pints perhaps!)

I want to keep this old school London pub a secret. It's great if you want the London of fog fug AND charm. I love this bolt hole.

An eclectic little oasis just south of Fleet Street. Warm friendly service. Plenty of keg beers on offer and a couple of cask ales running. The walls are covered in huge numbers of beer mats and other souvenirs of bygone days. A couple of extraordinary person sized doll soldiers guarding the bar, worth a visit for this alone. A lovely addition to this wonderful part of London.

Tucked away pub, fantastic interior. Sat outside & had the toasted sandwiches for lunch. I recommend the halloumi & tomato, limited menu for the time being. Attentive & friendly service..would go again
