Experimental Cocktail Club in City of London

A beautiful venue and with rather tasty experimental cocktails. Sadly the professionalism of the stuff is beyond appalling, from the barman to the service and finally the bouncer. All extremely rude. I thought having a few might have been more sensitive to normal but I only come here to see more negative and similar reviews.I wanted to give 0 stars but the one star goes for how beautiful the venue is and the tasty cocktails. Pricey too. But I wouldn't mind that if the stuff were friendlier.Avoid. You need to be thick skinned to deal with how rude all the stuff are.

First time I come here, nice atmosphere and service is friendly and professional. I really enjoyed the Old Cuba, I would suggest to give more options with vodka !

Good cocktails, great vibe and it's always a nice spot to bring people visiting the city for the first time.

Great drinks, pricy but you get what you pay for. Feels like a serious cocktail establishment until around 10pm when the DJ starts playing and it turns into a club, which is a bit of a let down because they have the right menu and setting to be a chill place.Highly recommend the carthage (floral, light, refreshing, good tall drink for hot night) and the kota ternate (very nicely done milk punch, bravo). Advise against the hokusai #2 - my friend ordered this, it was very clear that the melon cordial had gone off, was melon that sat around too long.

I come to Experimental Cocktail club every week and pay on average £250. I could not have been more disappointed by the service of Lorierainne this weekend. I have never in my life exeperienced such an aggressive and ignorant waitress and disrepectulf. Not only come did I come here on a weekly basis, bringing my friends and enjoying cocktails for £15 but also having a good time. The second I entered the second floor she forced me to stay in the corner and when I took a seat to order for she accused me disrespectfully of having used the word “shit”. Which is not the case. Having come here more than 20 times and bringing my friends here as well, her aggressive and disrespectful nature of behavior have made me decide to NEVER come here again. If you charge this much for your drinks (and fair enough) PLEASE at least ask for the RESPECT & Hospitality of your workforce too. Chapter closed and NEVER again! Thank yoi

Despite not booking and being in a group of 6, we were accommodated with a friendly welcome. Service was incredibly efficient, cocktails arrived very quickly and all were beautifully done and very tasty. This place remains high on my list for great cocktails and it feels like a fun, comfortable and intimate location.

Great little bar. Really enjoyed the cocktails but the sake cocktail really split opinion it was cheesy and savoury which I liked but others didn’t. Hey ho. Cool music with a live DJ!

Great, great cocktails in a speak easy setting You gotta know what door to knock to get in, and there might be a queue outside. One of the (surprisingly) not many places in Soho / China Town which remains open after 11pm.

Great place with a fun atmosphere. A little hidden with no number on the door but that's the point of a speakeasy, right? Small bar area with some low tables against the window and sides. Staff was attentive but not overly in your face every minute which was great. Great cocktail menu with some twists on classic favorites. I had the Hokusai while my friend had the Chichibeo. Both were good and would get again.

Fantastic cocktail club hidden on the streets of china town, it is not easy to realize the entrance of this place but once inside they find a pleasant and probably inspected atmosphere. Friendly staff and very professional bartenders who prepare fantastic cocktails. Negroni is very good in all its originality. Recommend! Closes late at night on weekends, a reservation is advisable that can only be made via e-mail. Average high price.
