A popular Chinese restaurant in the Bayswater area. Customers are looked after. The place is clean. Went there to order a take away yesterday. I arrived few minutes before the 1200 opening time. There was a queue! Would i go back? Of course.

I heard the reputation of the restaurant for a long time. I had lunch with my friends, we all understand now why people love this restaurant.The food was delicious. We ordered about 12 menus and cannot blame anything on them.The staff was also helpful. She is a pro-level. I guarantee that even you don't know the Chinese food, she can explain the details very clearly and can help suggest based on you preference of taste 👍 I am sure my friends and I will go back to this restaurant for sure in the future.

Great experience and a must for Cantonese roast duck. Lots to choose from on the menu so would recommend coming in a larger group. The crab and sweetcorn soup is good and the stir fry noodles (would choose vermicelli here) and obviously the duck. Can get quite busy so would make a reservation.

I went to grab lunch on a weekday and ordered their roast duck rice noodle soup. The portion of roast duck was fresh and generous. The roast duck was juicy and thick in meat. An improvement to the dish would be that the broth had more depth and flavour.

Our new favourite authentic Chinese restaurant. Really good food, decent prices and efficient service. Will definitely be back.

Good standard of food. The roast duck is nice and juicy. The yumcha menu is slightly limited, more variety would be great but everything was delicious. Service is friendly and attentive

It's a good, honest restaurant. Unlike many places these days you can tell that Gold Mine is all about substance over style.I really enjoyed the wonton soup, the wontons were large and contained whole, juicy, prawns. The broth was well seasoned without being overly salty.I also ordered three items from the dim sum menu, Shanghai style dumplings (Xialongbao) were delicate and the soup and filling was rich with porky goodness.The glutinous rice with chicken in lotus leaf was fragrance and hearty.My favourite was the crispy beancurd and prawn cheong fun, I really enjoyed the combinations of flavours and textures. I've had cheong plenty of times before but seldom this nice.If you're in the area I'd definitely recommend stopping in for a treat!!

Gold Mine is a nice Chinese restaurant that serves mostly Cantonese style cuisine. The roast duck and roast pork was particularly good. The staff were efficient and friendly. We ate in, but they appeared to have a brisk trade for take away.

This is one.of the most popular restaurants in bayswater. The lunch time Dim sum are so tasty its a must visit. The service is swift and friendly. Welcoming by the staff makes the visit worthwhile. Duck pancakes are so delicious, you just can not bet enough. House wines is superb. Buzy atmosphere. If you are out and about in the area don't forget to stop by.
